I had a rather strange dream last night. I am a firm believer in Angels, but I am a tad bit confused. Last Feb I had my ex boyfriend die from Cancer, I had no idea he was ill at the time; however we were also broken up at the time too, but we reamined really good friends. He lived in Arlington VA, and I'm from Ontario Canada, I met him 10 years ago.
Now last night I had a dream I was looking for Charles (my ex who died) I was walking near a park, and there was a school building or a tan building that felt like a school there were dead leaves swirling on the grouns, it was night time, and the sky was clear, without stars. The air was cool, and I proceeded to walk, then I thought that I saw Charles, and I called out to him. The closer I walked toward him, the face changed to a beautiful lady. She has dark brown hair, and brown eyes, she wore a long black dress with burgandy lining. I said to her as I stopped in my tracks weary of her. ''You're not Charles. '' I began to sob.
The lady looked at me, and said. ''This way''. I followed her as she guided me out of the park, and across the street. we entered into a white building with black railing on the stairwell walls. I proceeded to follow her down stairs to the basement wondering where she was taking me, I said nothing but inly followed with curiosity. We reached the basement, and there were 2 doors. The lady said ''Pick a door''. I looked from one to the other, and saw number 3 on door one, and number 5 on door two. I debated for a moment, while I observed writing on both doors but I cant recall the words. I opened door 3, as 3 is my favorite number. It was a ground garage parking lot, and I saw my ex standing there waiting for me. I hanked the lady, and ran through the door into Charles arms, he picked me up, and we conversed. I asked him: ''Why did you leave me''? He looked at me and replied:
''I tried to stay''.

I started to cry.


''I miss you, I love you. Why didnt' you tell me you were sick''?

He said he didn't want to hurt me, or make me sad. 2 other ladies appeared in the dream and the lady who guided me to Charles was there still. The other two ladies were dressed in white and observed while the lady who guided me to Charles started to anoit me with I think lavender oil and chanted something and telling me that I was going to be alright and that things are going to be okay.         
I started to sing a sad song to Charles on how badly I missed him, and maybe I should commit suicide to just to be with him again. My song stopped, and everyone disapeared....

I am still hurting from his death, but I'm not suicidal...

Was this lady dressed in black the angel of sorrow? I need someone to shed a bit of light who this angel may have been. Please! Thank you!     

I am sorry for the loss of Charles.  I do believe people who have passed over can visit us in our dreams.  As to the others in your dream we are told that all who appear in our dreams (with the exception of visitations) represent some aspect of our self.  I hope you can take comfort Charles came to you in your dream-time, and trust he is okay and looks after you.

What I do know about loss having been widowed at an early age is the love never dies, and time does help us to heal.  We never forget those we love who have gone before us, but we can be grateful for the time we had, and live our lives to the fullest and be happy for the memories.
