Dear Baby,

Since you went to heaven my life has become worse than any nightmare I could ever have imagined when we were together. It's now been over a year and my depression is the worst it has ever been. You loved me and showed me your love more than any woman has ever done. I miss you more than words could ever express and I am barely able to live on this Earth without you. You were my best friend and the only person who knew me inside and out. I'm so lost and scared without you. I can't continue to write this anymore, but I will finish this when i am feeling better.

I have no degree in such issues but I believe that I was told that it takes a 2-1 years in ratio to heal over the loss of a loved one. That is, theoretically it could take up to 8 years for a 4 year relationship but each individual is most assuredly different.
