Drum roll please - I was shocked
Salt Lake City, Utah!!!!!!!!  Did not expect that did you?

inamerica.blogs.cnn.com/2012/01/09/whats...

This is from the publication called The Advocate.

In antoher source I read several months ago Texas is the leading state for gay people to raise children.

On the link provided the Advocate ranks 15 of the top gay friendly cities.  I am noticing how the gay friendly areas are often republican dominated.

Anyway, thought you would enjoy.

For those who have faith, no explanation is neccessary.
For those who have no faith, no explanation is possible.

Or Atlanta. Some years ago my husband and I were going to San Francisco for a week. Someone here mentioned we should be aware of "gays" there. I was working in high-end retail in Atlanta and had several friends who were "gay" men.

Roo and Jane both Denver and Atlanta are both on the top 15 list.  You can see that list if you go to the site I listed.   Strangely San Francisco is not on the list, which I find hard to believe.  None of the California cities are on that list.

I read the list but in some ways it is immaterial to me. I was good friends with several "gay" men in high-end retail here and I enjoyed their company : they were witty, and interested in many topics. The wait-staff in high-end restaurants were often gay and were great : I'm Steve and I'll be your waiter. (This would not have flown in parts of the northeast where waiters had a more "professional" mien.)

Contrary to popular belief, the LDS faith doesn't automatically condemn anyone who is homosexual; in fact, the church was behind the push to get "gender" and "sexual preference" written into the housing discrimination laws in the city.

It's the whole "marriage" bit that gets to people. Domestic unions and common-law marriages are fine, but the formal "marriage" bit runs afoul of the theology in several areas.

Thanks for the article. Now I know where to go to score with lesbians!

There are three sides to every story: your side, my side, and the truth.

God is just a personification of reality, of pure objectivity.
