If you're serious and you want to start somewhere then start here.

Please provide a single good fruit that is produced by the Christian teaching homosexual sex is a sin.

I've been on a journey to nowhere...

There are Christians and homosexuals here, and we might try to see if there's anything anyone might hope that we should be able to agree upon, since on so many threads there are such extreme disagreements, repetition of the same basic differences in how we view the world.

Good start.  Neither is Paul, Moses, J, P or the redactor, nor were those at the various councils that established the canon, or those later who translated the originals into English.  Fair enough?  Can we agree on the above.  You notice I left Jesus out of the list.

OK, here is one.  We cannot know the hearts of others, nor the relationship they have with the Divine, whatever it is they call it.

I know you believe you understand what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize what you heard was not what I meant...

I will go further.  Because we are not God and cannot know the hearts of others, posting things about the relationship others have with God says more about us than it does about them. Not in a good way.

I disagree.

People who fail simple tests taught by Jesus, the man, to discern false teachings are, according to Jesus, the man, ravenous wolves on the inside wearing sheep's clothing. I'd say that says quite a bit about their heart.

So we get to agree to disagree and argue with humor about reality and non reality.

O.K.

Sirron,

Again you are right, there is nothing funny about ignorance guided hate that causes so much damage.

I have held so many... dying and dead.  Because of this system of belief. Almost was one, who held me first? A buddhist, then a jew, then  real christians, you do not count as these folk loved their god and you fear him, big difference.

The humor comes from having to laugh in the face of horror. Ever been to a funeral protested? I have.  Now I would call that funny because it was so bizzare.   Then it was horrifying.  Terrible.

SW you want humble?

Get thee to a shelter and volunteer to help MEN that abuse in the name of God.

See who laughs.

You want humility?

Listen to the ones you are trashing and then walk a mile... you will get humble, or get the crap beat out of you or worse, in the name of YOUR CHOSEN belief system by men who believe as you do.

Try being a woman for a day, try being one that looks like a stereotypical gay man, wear a dress.  Then defend yourself and get real humble.  Hope the police care.  If they don't you are screwed, not in a nice, friendly way.

Hard to be funny when on the receiving end of "homosexuality is a sin" Especially the "ACT" that you object to and can do all by yourself.

Us gay folk are able to have sex just like heterosexuals. All one needs is a brain.

You want funny and humble?  I am able to smile in the face of danger and am humble because I have accepted love and truth and live now.

I am glad you are still posting tho, you can keep your gods, try to enjoy them and maybe we can move on.
