I'm surprised no one has brought this up.

Here's the story.

Synopsis: George Rekers went to rentboy.com and "rented" a male escort for a 10 day European trip. Rekers has spend a considerable amount of time and effort to put up a facade of being anti-homosexual. He has claimed that homosexuality can be "cured" and made various other homophobic remarks.

This is just another example of hilarious hypocrisy coming from this so called "family research council." It is also further proof that those that are rabidly anti-gay in public are homosexuals in private.

It was brought up on the Homosexuality and Faith board, but went nowhere.  No one is surprised I guess after so many others have been outed.

I believe the homophobes have learned to keep quiet about these things. All their arguments have failed and they just sit quietly in the corner and hate.

Oh, the irony.... If only humankind could be above itself.

Rekers has a new explanation for the trip. "I deliberately spend time with sinners with the loving goal to try to help them," he said in a statement posted on Facebook.

From OP link.

You've got to love his explanation for renting a boy (age 20).  The article makes it clear the site was not for carrying luggage.

The link with a copy of the Facebook post tells about Rekers trying to get the rent a boy to stop his homosexual ways.  Guess this was between the full body rub down.  Tongue out

Gee, how did that work out? I guess this concerned politician can just keep on renting guys until he finally "cures' one....although I think that using adversion conditioning by making the guys contemplate having sex with him is a bit extreme.Laughing

'When I want your opinion, I'll give it to you."
these are both from my father.

He's not a "politican" Karbie but an "expert" on being "Anti-Gay."  No, sorry, he's really just a fraud plain & simple.

This man pretends that he knows the "real deal" and is an expert "witness" in testifiying to quite a few States that are looking to pass laws [read as Anti-Gay measures] to NOT allow either single Gay people or Gay couples to adopt children.  He's claimed that it "harms" children, that it corrupts them, that it can [heaven's to betsy!] turn some of them Gay even!
He is also [of course] against Same Sex Marriage.
He also has an organization where he claims that he can "cure" Gay people from being Gay.

And really now, his little European Vacation [more over Chevy Chase] with his young "Rentboy" really does prove that old George is right ya think!? Surprised

I wish I could say that I'm surprised or something......  It's gotten to the point that every time some 'family values' type rails against homosexuality, I suspect his undies are pink 'n' frilly...(I know, that's crossdressing and it's a different matter entirely....)

There is no reason to be surprised by this report. Those who are most opposed to various forms of sexuality and sexual behaviours often use their opposition as a means of dealing with their own sexual issues.

No, they use it as a means to HIDE their own sexual issues. "Deal with them"??? That's a laff and a half.
