He is famous for his STUPID quotes... here is another for you.

"Just like what Nazi Germany did to the Jews, so liberal America is now doing to the evangelical Christians. It's no different. It is the same thing. It is happening all over again. It is the Democratic Congress, the liberal-based media and the homosexuals who want to destroy the Christians. Wholesale abuse and discrimination and the worst bigotry directed toward any group in America today. More terrible than anything suffered by any minority in history." -Pat Robertson

And here are a few more. I'm not convinced that Pat is actually sane.

"You say you're supposed to be nice to the Episcopalians and the Presbyterians and the Methodists and this, that, and the other thing. Nonsense, I don't have to be nice to the spirit of the Antichrist." -- Pat Robertson, The 700 Club, January 14, 1991

"The feminist agenda is not about equal rights for women. It is about a socialist, anti-family political movement that encourages women to leave their husbands, kill their children, practice witchcraft, destroy capitalism and become lesbians." - 1992 Iowa fundraising letter opposing a state equal-rights amendment ("Equal Rights Initiative in Iowa Attacked", Washington Post, 23 August 1992)

"If I could just get a nuclear device inside Foggy Bottom, I think that's the answer." (talking about the United States State Department)

“You know, I don't know about this doctrine of assassination, but if [President Hugo Chavez of Venezuela] thinks we’re trying to assassinate him, I think that we really ought to go ahead and do it. It’s a whole lot cheaper than starting a war. And I don’t think any oil shipments will stop. [...] We have the ability to take him out, and I think the time has come that we exercise that ability. We don't need another $200 billion war to get rid of one, you know, strong-arm dictator. It's a whole lot easier to have some of the covert operatives do the job and then get it over with.” -- 22 August 2005, in a broadcast of his Christian Broadcasting Network's program, The 700 Club mediamatters.org/mmtv/200508220006

"We're importing Hinduism into America. The whole thought of your karma, of meditation, of the fact that there's no end of life and there's this endless wheel of life, this is all Hinduism. Chanting too. Many of those chants are to Hindu Gods -- Vishnu, Hare Krishna. The origin of it is all demonic. We can't let that stuff come into America. We've got the best defense, if you will -- a good offense." www.sullivan-county.com/news/pat_quotes/...

"The genius of the Constitution rests not in any static meaning it might have had in a world that is dead and gone, but in the adaptability of its great principles to cope with current problems and current needs." -- Justice William Brennan: Speech to the Text and Teaching Symposium at Georgetown University (October 12, 1985)

God really did not intend for us to engage in homosexual behavior. He destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. How he loves us that he doesn't punish us that way now.

So at one point gay folks were stamped out by fire and brimstone but now he loves us and allows us to change?  I agree with Terry Pratchett who said that the New Testament is teh story of "how God got religion."

Gods have a history of blowing up entire cities because of slight's.  I suppose you could ask the Trojans about that.

A god who doesn't love you because of the people you love doesn't seem like a very nice god to me.

Well, as an Episcopalian, it's good to know he thinks I'm part of the spirit of the Antichrist. Of course, I'm not really surprised by his statement.

Oh, I thought feminsm was about affording equal rights and legal protection to women. I really did. Silly me

As did I!  Equal voting rights and pay and all of that. Who knew that stony looking Susan B Anthony was such a Bride of Satan?

But as a person who know a large number of lovely witches and lesbians I would say that you are in good company.  Now have fun destroying capitalism you heretical little baby killer you!

Pat Robertson has left the Christian faith for a faith based on money and greed.  He has no regard for other people and will say anything to keep the money rolling in.  As an Evangelical Christian, I ask other Evangelicals to condemn this man's lies and his use of the pain of others to line his pockets.

This is one SICK puppy (to put it mildly)... my hope is that he will soon join his buddy Oral in the near future.
