That is true ..you are not required to follow it for salvation because it's not by works but through faith in Christ .. but we (Christians) are to walk worthy of His Gift, walk in love ... and in it there is a blessing here on earth and in heaven ... if you truely have faith in Christ, you will make it to heaven even if you are living in sin, but that doesnt mean you wont be disciplined here, even to death .. and be careful that you dont get to the point where your faith without works becomes dead. |

Dalight -- "... running the good faith for rewards" What does that mean?
by the way, you've been duped. It's not true that faith is sufficient. They are lying to you, because they are Satanists. On the other hand, they are also lying to you about what is a sin and what isn't. Jesus never mentions homosexuality even once (unless you count him healing the Centurian's male lover....), but he exhorts you hundreds of times to take care of the poor. Mind you, not the deserving poor, just the poor. He even speaks against divorce once or twice. Then he rails against hypocrisy -- the only thing he seems to hate. and he exhorts you to love your neighbor, to love your enemy, to turn the other cheek, and not to judge. Oh yes, there's that passage about the sheep and the goats, where he tells you faith isn't enough, you have to do good works too. |

Oh, that's right - some Xians believe this JC character will (literally) let them get away with murder and still go to heaven. Yup. That's why I have no use for those people - or him. I prefer a faith that forces a person to take responsibility for their actions rather than rely on cheap grace. Prop 8 out in '09!

Da, Paul is talking to you in Romans 2:1. Do you ever read parts of the Bible that apply to your own behavior?
I know you believe you understand what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize what you heard was not what I meant...

Oh, Kewl. So when are you going to trial for stoning women to death who were raped in town and not heard crying for help. You wouldn't ignore any jot or tittle of the law, right? I am also curious to know how you know when women are menstruating so you won't touch anything they have sat on. Up for sexual harassment charges yet? Clearly you check all your clothing labels to avoid any clothing made of more than one fiber, because the Bible forbids that, and you cut your hair as commanded, right? Right? Right? Somehow I doubt you follow the Bible as closely as you pretend. Go on, I can't wait to hear all the reasons why jots and tittles that apply to your behavior don't count, but the others do.
I know you believe you understand what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize what you heard was not what I meant...

I dont have to do that because it's been put aside for those without sin .. that law has served its purpose during its time and needed to be put aside. I get my guidance from the ENTIRE BIBLE .. I dont speculate some parts are mistaken or changed or sabotaged or etc .. It's like peeking in and out of a movie and judging the story in 5 min snippets... its like watching Titanic for almost 3 hours and walking out right before Jack dies and claiming the movie to be about happy endings...WATCH THE WHOLE MOVIE = READ THE WHOLE BIBLE. If the Bible says a certain law is no longer needed, it simply means it no longer serves the purpose. |

Oh I do read the whole thing and that's why I'm not judging anybody. I dont judge people for struggling with sexuality. I dont ban anyone from coming to church for any sin, as long as they are repentant. But when you are proud of your living in sin and are denying any wrong doing, thats different .. the Bible says the church community is supposed to kick them out after certain stages of intervention. What paul was talking about was the one Jesus talked about, the hypocrat Pharisees who gave laws to people they themselves couldnt even keep. This has nothing to do with pointing out sin. The Bible is full of it with the prophets, Jesus, and apostles pointing out the sins of their people. |

1st of all, Grace is no cheap ... it cost God His Son. Second, your hilarious for saying "you prefer a faith...". lolol...this has nothing to do with preference! There is ONE truth whether we prefer it love it hate it want it .. or not. Maybe that's the problem, you're just looking for a faith that you like and missing the faith that IS. |

There are two types of judgements ... one is heaven/hell based on faith and only faith in CHrist and his sacrifice, and second is lack/gain of rewards for the "treasures" you have put in heaven through your works on earth (heard of Jesus say put your treasures where no theif steals ...?" And what do you mean I'm duped? If by that you mean people are telling me something that's not right, I dont believe in people, I read and verify for myself in prayer. From Genesis to Revelation, people are justified and saved through faith. But if you mean the Bible is tampered with, well, I dont believe in that speculation (because of so many internal and external references, and most importantly because of God's sovereignty). |
