You all have the right to your opinions and lifestyle, however I disagree. I'm against all sins, and I consider that sick lifestyle a sin. I'm sorry if that seems harsh, but I don't like the so-called L.G.B.T. agenda making the U.S.A. look like a Moral wasteland of sin. I do not approve or condone the L.G.B.T. agenda and lifestyle, it is sick and that is why I'm thinking about becoming a Seventh-Day Adventist. Oh yeah P.S., may Jamaica be blessed by God for being one of the best moral Christian countries in the Western Hemisphere-Go Jamaica God loves Jamaica.!!!!
Let me get this straight. You're choosing your religion specifically because you believe that gay people are sick? No other reason? I'm sure your Jewish forebearers are quite pleased... *rolls eyes* |

Hi, there, Jesusisamazinggod aka Jesusisgod aka Youngearthcreationbygod aka N8LovesL.G.B.T.2009 aka this, that, and the other! How's the MPD doing today? Let's see: first you were a gay Reform Jew who abandoned Judaism because you think Judaism is anti-gay and Christianity is a better religion for gays. Then you were a straight "former Jew by faith" who became Baptist because you believe in YEC. Now you're a Jamaican who wants to be an SDA because of the "L.G.B.T lifestyle and agenda." Next you'll probably be a bicurious transgendered Presbyterian who wants to become a Rastafarian. :) |

I used to be shocked at the hatred and bigotry. Now, as per post #13 , from jesusisamazinggod, it is clearly coming from a place of pure ignorance and fear.
This person needs pity and help and a reality check not disdain. Jon, we have discussed the "gay agenda and "lifestyle" issues for years and there is always one that crawls out from under a rock completly clueless as per the unfortunate soul in post 13. We both know there is no gay lifestyle that is much different from a straight one, heck we are both parents, my lifestyle includes parent teacher conferences, boys choir concerts bike riding and spaghettios. I am lucky that my alleged gay agenda enables me to buy tooth+ paste laundry detergent and toilet paper in bulk! But if this poor soul thinks being a 7th day adventist will protect this person from real life and that Jamaica is actually morally superior to say... Iowa, then let the poor ignorant goof ball think that, the ignorance is blaring, and yes cruel yet truly pathetic. There is no excuse to be that ignorant and filled with irrational fear over something as basic as human love in this day and age. There is too much info available that proves otherwise. We know this. We can't control this level of ignorance, it is clearly a choice albeit a highly irrational one. We can only continue to teach and be the real people we are and talk about our realities with 1 person at a time. This person clearly does not even realise there are real people that this person is directing angst towards. Pray there will be a light that goes on someday. maybe while said poster is smoking something special on the beaches of Jamaica contemplating sinning. Dar |

May be for some the hatred come from repressed homesexual feelings or tendencies -like that pastor that used to send all homosexuals to hell and then turned out to be one of them. Personally, I don't get it. If homosexuality was such a horrible sin, wouldn't have Jesus say something about it? The problem with many Christians is that they confess Jesus as their Lord...and then pay attention to everybody else in the Bible but him.

It's very strange. What are the two biggest preoccupations with American Christians today? Homosexuality and abortion. The Bible speaks vaguely about certain homosexual acts maybe three or four times; it doesn't say anything about abortion at all. Yet is goes on and on and on at length about helping the poor and needy, giving of yourself to help those in need -- the "Old Testament" even legislates a social welfare and wealth redistribution system! Yet the same Christians who obsess over homosexuality and abortion are dead set against anything that smells of "socialism." |
. I'm against all sins, and I consider that sick lifestyle a sin.
You are against all sins, yet have no problem with verbal assault and false witness. Apparently you have not heard of Jesus. He told us to worry about our own planks, love our neighbors as ourselves, and remember that how you treat others, ie, calling them sick, is how you treat Jesus. If you knew Jesus, you would know that stuff.
I know you believe you understand what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize what you heard was not what I meant...

You don't really expect people to put their money where their mouths are, do you?

He's also apparently okay with murder, if he thinks Jamaica is a "moral" nation. Queer people are horribly oppressed there. The culture is overflowing with homophobia; just listen to any of the music coming out of it nowadays. It's not uncommon for a song to encourage people to kill homosexuals. I reported him a while back, so either the admins haven't gotten around to taking care of him, or they aren't going to do anything. |
