One thing I've never understood is why conservatives are so afraid of gay marriage? How does that effect their own marriage? Or will suddenly everybody turn gay just because they're allowed to marry? Does that mean that there are zillions of closets gays hidden in hetero couples?
I personally can't understand how a man could love a man but hey, if they feel like that, who am I to criticize or judge their love or what they do at home? That doesn't concern me any more like what my straight neighbors are doing, or not doing, in bed. So seriously: why this irrational, unfounded fear? Or is it simply an expression of their 'disgust' of homosexuality? But even then, why do they care so much what other people do (at home)?

Would this not be better suited to either the "Politics" or the "Sexuality" boards?

I keep hearing from various conservative ch-tians that it will somehow undermine traditional marriage. I would love the ch-tians hear to tell us how it is.
One ch-tian person, on another board said homosexuality is wrong because they were having sex outside of marriage, that it is the sin, so why not let them get married?
A tyrant must put on the appearance of uncommon devotion to religion. Subjects are less apprehensive of illegal treatment from a ruler whom they consider god-fearing and pious. On the other hand, they do less easily move against him, believing that he has the gods on his side. Aristotle

I know you believe you understand what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize what you heard was not what I meant...
