from a single guys perspective on divorce, separation, relationships, whatever.....it takes TWO to make a relationship and TWO to break one...I can't stand hearing that it's always HIS fault..or HER fault...you both were in it together from the beginning... just had to get that off my chest...have a blessed weekend and God bless you all!

You are right, of course, that in every relationship it is usually the case that both parties play a role in troubles. Maybe you would be willing to share some of your own experiences with this. |

Hi David, Being married 3 times now, I can definitely agree that it takes 2 people to make or break a relationship. My divorces have been equally my fault and my ex-spouse's and every problem that occurs in the marriage I'm currently in are shared by both of us. Relationships are not easy like Hollywood can make them out to be (Oh, don't we wish!); they take a lot of work on both parties side. It's too bad that so many people jump into relationships thinking that they're easy and then when something goes wrong, they're so quick to place the blame on the other party. There are so many people out there that want to be in a relationship that haven't learned one thing about "give and take" yet, so any relations they enter have a great chance of failure. Luckily, most Christian people have learned that relationships are a two-way street, and utilize prayer daily as part of their lives together. God Bless |
