Of course, my husband and I both wanted every photo that we had of our children growing up, but neither of us would budge on who would get what when we were negotiating the divorce. It lead to one of our biggest fights. I looked for a way to make copies of the photos, but it was too expensive ($2 per scanned photo!) until I found a blog about a new AFFORDABLE photo copying service. They put every photo that I had of my grandparents, parents and kids on a DVD for me for only $29! It

It looks like you've discovered that cutting and pasting a post gets part of it cut off; apparently, this is one of the bugs being worked out here at the New Beliefnet. However, that's a great solution, and the one I was going to suggest. Glad you were able to resolve things relatively peacefully, and I'm sorry for the pain your divorce brought you and your family. I was going to suggest scanning the onto your computer if you have a scanner or know someone that does. That way you can burn them to a CD, DVD what ever those things are called, at your lesiure. It's what I'm in the process of doing just to gaurd against damage or loss.
