Hello.
Does anyone have experience growing persimmons? I would like a cultivated variety for eating. The area (southwest Wisconsin) is currently on the border between zone 4 and zone 5, which might limit options. Suggestions of particular varieties and where I might purchase them? THANK YOU!

We went for a vacation in California and spent some time in Marin County. The landlady in Marin County asked us if we had trouble growing persimmons in Edmonton, Alberta and we said that we had a problem with early frosts! We are a zone 3A where we are. |
