The other day Oprah Winfrey shocked her audience with a secret,one that had been kept from her for 47 years by her mother~ The "Secret" was Oprah,who had lost two siblings,one her step brother, and a step sister named Pat in 2003~had a baby half sister.

Her sister's name is Patricia~now the scary part,Patricia looks exactly like Pat who passed
away in 2003!!!

Now on Monday's show this was all revealed to Oprah's audience~I was watching,and the
whole time I was watching I was litterly crying~ Why you ask.
Well this past Summer, I myself had my life changed the exact same way Oprah had hers
changed~I found out that I had a sister,who's the same age as Oprah's!.

Our stories aren't all that different~I was born in April 1954,and Oprah in January 1954.
And our sisters were both born in in 1963.

Oprah's sister tried to get intouch with her.
I never knew about my baby sister till after my father died in 1986,and I got my adoption
papers,and then made a trip to the agency I was adopted from.
I was looking to find out some medical information.
Before I left,I had to sign a form for the NYState Adoption Registry.
I signed it and then forgot about it.

I never thougth anything would come of it~that was till I received a phone call in November
2006,telling me I had a sibling!.
Was I ever in shock.
I found out I had a baby sister~my caseworker asked if she could give my sister my name.
I said SURE.~then I waited,and nothing happened.

This past Summer, my caseworker called me~"your sister wants to meet you".
I said I had to tell my family/husband & his family~and I needed time to think
I went and told all the people who I had to~then I wrote a letter to my caseworker,
that had all of the information my sister would need~ Then I hit "Send".

The next day my caseworker,called "Are you sure you want me to send this to her?"
"Do it before I lose my nerve~ and change my mind".
A half hour later I got an email from Facebook~ of all places,from my sister.
I didn't read it too carefully~ cause when I recived a second one I got the shock of my life
Not only did I have one sister~No, I had two of them,also a neice,a nephew, they were both
married,my neice had two little boys~ and this past fall we found out she's expecting again,
this time the first little girl in the family!

This coming April, I'm taking a trip to Los Angles to meet with my whole new family.
