My husband and I don't usually get any further in our restaurant experiences than the local mall's food court, but since it's all out in the open, and you can see the food actually being prepared, you don't have to worry too much about what the chefs are doing behind closed doors.
I have friends that never eat out, because of the nasty tricks some restaurants employees have been known to pull, in fouling food. However, this is a very good post for those of us who aren't so cautious as all that.
