Summer finally arrived here in San Diego.  Things weren't set up for such and Limpy let me know it.   At bedtime Wednesday evening she started up.

"Ahem." (Limpy's version sounds a little like a cough)

"Yes, Limpy?"

"Ahem!" She stood by her bed, unwilling to crawl into it.

"What do you need Limpy? "

She stamped her little foot. "A-hem!"

 "C'mon, get into bed, Limpy. It's bedtime."

 "AHEM!" She wasn't cooperating.

I realized what she wanted. The Jelly Roll Pan.

I brought it out from storage, placed it next to her bed.  She heard the metal sound and began to prance around. The hooman had guessed correctly. Fetched the cold packs & dish towel, placed them at one end of the pan. Limpy immediately flopped onto her Jelly Roll Pan, content.  She would sleep comfortably tonight despite the heat.
