This is my spoiled Cockatiel, Donny. He has pied coloration and is about 2 years old. Donny has just a wonderful little personality: he loves people and will climb right on to your shoulder to sing and talk to you! (yes, he does talk. He says "hello" and "pretty bird") I recieved this charmer for my 16th Birthday, and it was love at first sight!! Donny has a bit of a 'fetish' in that he likes to talk and sing to feet. It is so funny to have him saranade your big toe!!
I am now in college, and pets are not allowed in the dorms. Donny is being taken care of by my Mother and little sister (whom Donny absolutely adores). I do miss him terribly while at school and love coming home to see my 'baby'.
i had some wonderful cockatiels for a long time. they are the most loving bird you can have.
The top is my Babygirl!! :D I have had her for 4 1/2 years now and she was fully grown when she wondered up on my gramma's property, so we don't know how old she is. She had her full, white coat then as a Great Pyrenese. I had to shave her because she was starting to have signs of heat stroke, they just aren't meant for Arkansas weather. So she has her spots showing and she always will. I don't know, she might be some sort of mix because she only weighs 80 lbs she's kind of small. But looks and mannerisms are all GP. She is very, very protective, she will start a fight with any animal within seeing distance if it is bigger than a grown cat. :/ That's why we got Klaus as a puppy. But she is the biggest sweetheart with people you will ever meet, everyone that comes over say they want to take her home with them.
The other ofcourse is Klaus my German Shepard. He just turned 1, he's a big boy and quite a handful but im glad he finally settles down long enough for me to pet him now lol. He thinks he's a lap dog even weighing 70-some pounds now. He learns faster than any other dog I've had.
Beautiful dogs. I really think they are so lovely.

This is micah SHE IS MY DAUGHTER basically, I have never told her she is a pet!!! and if you ask any one about are animals (kids) none of them no any different, they will tell you that we have rescue babies and micah. Because I had gotten Micah when she was 4 weeks old and she is now or will be 20 years old on Christmas Eve and we grew up together, she has never been a barker only when necessary, she is sooo kind and loving, And she is a big help with the rescues we get. she will cuddle with them ,share her food, and will even help the kittens get to the kitty box, and she loves to play. and when they are some where they are not supposed to be she lets us know. she has been my friend and confidant for so long, She knows everything about me and that's OK, we have been thru alot together and I truly don't think GOD could have given me a better child to grow up with By the way at present we have 2 Dogs and micah 4 cats and 4 kittens and By the way Micah is chihuahua/pappiloin
This is Chi-Chi. He is my uber fluffy chinchilla. He's about 12 years old this summer (they can get up to 20). That means he's been a part of my life for exactly half of it.
We got him for free from my cousin who was attempting to breed chinchillas. The day we took him was the day she got a new chinchilla. She didn't know that chinchilla was sick and she didn't follow proper quarantine practices and that chinchilla plus both of Chi-Chi's parents were dead within the week. Had we taken him one day later, and we were going to wait but I begged my dad hard enough that he caved, he would have been dead too, so it's a bit of a miracle he's still here.
He's super curious and a bit shy. He's very territorial about his cage and won't let anyone pet him through the bars except me (he'll bite everyone else!). Once I take him out though, he's a total love-bug.
For some reason, the photo didn't show up, but you can see him in my icon.
One day in July Madame M. appeared on our porch. She was skinny and skittish, but not too shy.
My husband gave her some left-overs and she did not even bother to touch the "food". We had no choice, but to run to the store and buy some cat food. We decided to buy some dry food first and see if she would touch it. She did. She loved my organic, lactose-free milk as well.
She would come over, have her food. She would demand that we scratched her back. Then she would have some more food, roll in dirt, get some more scratches to finally finish her meal and get some rest in the rose bush.
She would disappear for hours only to come back in the evening to have her meal and the scratches. We were allowed to pet and to scratch her. Only then would she eat the food.
Few days later we decided to buy her the "wet" food. We both stood in the supermarket in front of the cat food shelf pondering what she might like. We got some juicy chicken, juicy beef, and some fish. The cat almost lost her mind when she tried the chicken delight. She also loved the beef, but she wouldn't touch the fish. Not even the succulent giant prawns that we bought for our dinner. I gather, we spoiled the alley cat. She is very choosy. She does not like the dry food anymore. She would eat it, but would scream for the juicy chicken.
She goes hunting and catches tiny lizards. She even caught a bird and brought it as a gift for my husband.
In no time she started to explore our house. At first she only took a few steps inside and would then run out as fast as she could. When she saw that it was safe to enter, she would go around and stay a bit longer. Now, she comes inside to have her breakfast and goes under the table to take a nap. On some days she does not even have the desire to go out again so we leave her at home. But when we come back for lunch, she dashes out like mad only to come back immediately to see if we give her something to eat. A really funny cat.
No cat in the neighborhood is safe. She chased away every single one. We belong to her. So does the porch. So does the house!
Madame M. is such a sweet creature. She is still very young and very playful. In no time she managed to leave her paw prints on our hearts. She is waiting patiently at the door every morning, sometimes drops by for lunch and is back again for dinner. If she is a bit late we worry that someone might have hurt her or that her wild instinct took over and she decided to abandon us... She is a free creature and we do not want to enslave her. But we both wish she stayd with us forever.
The cold season is coming and we will have to figure out what to do with her. Hopefully she will be comfortable indoors at night and during the day when we are away...
This actually is a picture of another cat, but Madame M. looks exactly like this one.
Our nutrition affects not only our physical bodies but also our minds and emotions. After choosing raw lifestyle I observed increased clarity of the mind and phenomenal lightness of being.
My fiance and I adopted a rescued Beagle puppy this past April. A person contacted the shelter because he had seen a beagle puppy living in a field for the past weeks and wanted to help it. I'm so glad that man helped her and got her some help! She was about 8 months when we adopted her.
We named her Zoe.
She lives in our house with a Borzoi, a Greyhound, and a Golden Retriever. Believe it or not, she's the top dog. She thinks she's the boss, and she gets loud and obnoxious when she doesn't get her way! She and the Greyhound ( which is also a rescue, named Buddy) love racing around the backyard. She can never catch up to him though, so she just yelps and barks while she's chasing him. She's a spoiled brat, but it's impossible not to spoil such a cute girl!
She still has some issues ( She's quite scared of men) , and potty training isn't complete! However, she has made such great progress, and she brings so much joy to our lives!
