OH MY GOD!!!!! WHAT A CUTIE PIE!!!! Give that baby a big hug and kiss for me!!! For those of you who may remember my talking about maybe having to give up my Chloe, it happened on November 2, 2010 because my asthma kicked up it heals and forced my hand. After I came home from surrending Chloe to the animal shelter, I realized how happy Chloe made me. But more importantly, I realized why Chloe appeared in my life during my unemployment. Chloe forced me to focus on her and her health problems in order to get me out of my own head and prevent me from sanking into seriously deep depression. In essence, Chloe saved me for 13 months when I thought that I was saving her. I did find a 30-hr. a week job with less pay and no benefits this past Jan. 13. Thanks to Chloe for helping me survive my 2nd year of unemployment. I still miss her.

I hope I haven't offended anyone with my posts on my cat, Chloe. I'm still grieving for her and still miss her terribly. If I have offended you, I'm sorry. Agnosticspirit, your kitty really is so precious and sweet!!!! Definitely cuteness overload!!!! |

This is my Best Buddy, Echo, he is a 2 1/2 year old Siberian Husky.
We got Echo when our youngest son left for college, a little bit of 'empty nest' syndrome I suppose. We went to look at puppies and fell in love with him, and he with us. I never expected to get so attached to him. He gives me emotional support and unconditional love and friendship. He requires me to be in the moment with him, I cannot dwell on negative thoughts. Siberians are very independent, primal and wolf-like. I have to be fully present, to always be his pack leader, and that has changed my life in all areas, bringing more joy to everything. Echo is loving, smart, loyal, playful and funny. Though well behaved he is very active, which of course keeps us active. From time to time, he gets on my nerves, but then he looks at me, cocks his head to one side, or lays his head in my lap, and I melt. I love him very much, and I just can't imagine how we ever got along without him. Echo is a true and faithful friend. He makes me want to be a person worthy of his devotion. |
