Spring is on the way and the days are getting warmer. What are some of the things that you look forward to doing with your family in the early spring?
I always remember that for every word typed there is a real person sitting behind the keyboard.

Around here, in the south USA, it can get pretty warm in spring and we're usually the first folks around to get the backyard kiddie pool full of kids. We also like picnicking, in our own yard as well as parks nearby. Sprouting seeds and preparing the garden areas. Fishing Taking the camera on our walks and photographing signs of spring. Roasting Marshmallows by the fire pit on those cooler evenings. Catching lizards Bunny Watching.. We've found their droppings, though we haven't seen any yet. Making new stepping stones to add to our gardens.

I enjoy gardening and haunting the nurseries to see what's new and affordable this year. |

I enjoy getting my easter bunnies out and decorating the house. I enjoy putting out primroses and pansies in my pots. I think that this weekend I should ask my hubbie to drive me to the Washington State Tulip Festival. Thanks for the reminder. |

Getting out with the kids and the dog for some much-needed cobweb clearing after the long, long winter. We tapped a maple in our yard this year and boiled down the sap ... we got almost two whole ounces of maple syrup, but boy, was it good.

I enjoy sitting in the park reading a book. Or napping in the sun. ^_^
"The real reason that we can't have the Ten Commandments in a courthouse: You cannot post "Thou shalt not steal", Thou shalt not commit adultery" and "Thou shalt not lie" in a building full of lawyers, judges and politicians. It creates a hostile work environment." -- George Carlin
