A friend had given me three succulents. And I have planted them in a hanging basket. One of them has pretty yellow flowers.

I have been harvesting root vegetables


The carrots generally did poorly.


The peas also shrivelled from drought.


I thought that the potato plants looked withered. Yet they yielded excellent results!

I enticed a Malaysian walker with fruit. He was amazed at the production of my blackberry bush. But he remarked that my back garden suffered from drought.


So I have bought a fifteen metre garden hose.

I also bought an adaptor for a trigger nozzle. Using that with the hose, made watering much easier.


And so the blackberries have become juicier!
