Would anyone like to talk about starting a mental health/illness monistry in my church? There is not one yet, but I feel called to begin one, using NAMI as some support. I am still in the discernment/planning/strategy stages.

Officials need to be trained.
I suggest the following disciplines:
• advocacy;
• health;
• psychology;
• recreation; and
• welfare.
I have noticed social work students to be very willing to mix socially with mental health consumers.
