Fruit Smoothie
Suitable for either Vegetarian or Vegan diet depending on type of milk used. Ingredients... A Handful of : Raspberries Strawberries Blackberries Blueberries 1 Banana sliced into bite sized chunks 1/3 cup silken tofu drained 1/2 cup milk (whatever kind is your preference -skim or soy or almond etc) 2-3 tablespoons maple syrup 1/3 cup of Soy icecream (Praline Pecan) Place all ingrediants in a blender. Blend until mix is as smooth as you like and serve. Makes about 3- 8 oz glasses... Enjoy! |

Here's another just because I'm in a shake kind of mood this week...enjoy all...:) 1/2 cup milk (whatever kind is your preference -skim or soy or almond or rice etc) 1/4 -1/2 cup water (Less liquid makes this more like a whip) A tbsn of almonds and cranberries 1 frozen banana broken into chunks 1 cup frozen raspberries A couple of tablespoons of your favorite raspberry sorbet or equivalent soy/rice icecream... Optional: Occasionally I will add 1/2 to 1 scoop of protein powder vanilla or chocolate. There are various kinds of protein powder: whey, soy, rice, etc use whatever kind or flavor you prefer... Blend until smoothie This can make about 2 glasses... |
