I was reading this article by Bob Perks called "The Most Exciting Thing Ever."  It prompted me to ask myself, "What's the most exciting thing that ever happened to me?"  I immediately thought about the birth of my son. When I was pregnant with him, a test showed that I had German measles which causes serious birth defects.  A careful follow-up test miraculously reversed that diagnosis, but I still worried. My son was born normal and healthy. He is grown now, a dear, sweet guy. I feel blessed by this experience.
