"Learning to live our life with no regrets often stems from some painful experiences that we couldn’t take back. When we realize we could have acted differently, this important Awareness is then a gift that can guide our future behavior towards inner peace."

Faith wouldn't be faith without having to trust what is unseen. God wants us to put one foot in front of the other, and just step out on faith.
and the other one i like is: We are God's idea. We are His. His face. His eyes. His hands. His touch... There is no greater truth than this: We are His. Unalterably. He loves us. Undyingly. --- Max Lucado |

It's the little things that get us
And put us on the rack You can sit upon the mountain But not upon the tack I learned this from my eigth grade science teacher, Mr. Lee. It's the only thing I'm sure I learned that year. |

Hello I am new here and this is my 1st post. This quote just goes to show how we learn a lot about who we are and our potential as children!
“Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.” - Dr. Seuss |

I adore Maya Angelou's quotes. I am a Sunday School teacher for middle grade girls and so much of what she says can be encouraging to young ladies.
"Living life is like constructing a building: if you start wrong, you'll end wrong." "If you don't like something, change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude. Don't complain!" "You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated. In fact, it may be necessary to encounter the defeats, so you can know who you are, what you can rise from, and how you can still come out of it." I also like these: "Far away there in the sunshine are my highest aspirations. I may not reach them, but I can look up and see their beauty, believe in them, and try to follow where they lead." Louisa May Alcott "Human beings, who are almost unique in their ability to learn from the experiences of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so." Douglas Adams "A friend is one to whom one may pour out the contents of one's heart, chaff and grain together, knowing that the gentlest hands will take and sift it, keep what is worth keeping and with a breath of kindness, blow the rest away." Arabian Proverb "As a man thinketh in his heart, so he is." Proverbs 14:1 "What would you attempt if you knew you could not fail?" Unknown "Smooth seas never made a skillful sailor." Unknown And of course, anything from the Bible will inspire in the most wonderful way! |

"We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience." ~ Pierre Teilhard de Chardin
I used this quote in an essay on Stargazing but I'm sure you can find it in many other places across the internet. |
