My sponsor told me about 19 years ago.. If you go to a meeting that you don't like, go to another one.. 
And that princple has helped me stay connected to a fellowship of like minded individuals.

You can always "Jump" to another meeting..and find some energy to leap over your problems..

My first two years in AA, I chased her "a vision for you" around from meeting place to meeting place.. I met her outside of meetings and God knew what I needed to stay in meetings.
