Hello to all those who post here in the Chronic Pain segment of Bnet!
Over the last few years I have hosted various boards here and always found the results quite positive to say the least! From time to time it is true we all are open to having either a really good day, or of course there are those not so great 'bad days'. As host, I ask that you always feel free to come here among friends and talk of not only the good things in life but the upsetting as well. {such as pain, and recovery}. With this invitation though is always the 'unsaid' agreement that we will treat everyone with respect and compassion. It has been my motto for many many years now that on days when we just cant seem to say anything nice, perhaps it might be a day to say nothng at all??? Afterall if we have to try to repair feelings once something is said, we would have no time left to keep making all the great friends so many of us have come to meet here at Bnet! **smile** May today find many of you just a little less painfree, and the sunshine perhaps just a wee bit brighter! Love and Light ^9^ Your Host ~~WIND~~ Chronic Pain |

Dear Wind,
Thanks for hosting us! I have another quote along the lines of Eve's : "For today, dear Lord, Please keep your arm around my shoulder And your hand over my mouth!" My own one is this: It takes less time to leave hurtful words unsaid Than to atone for the damage you've done You can't remove them once they've been said They will keep on playing in someone else's head. Karen
"You are letting your opinion be colored by facts again."
'When I want your opinion, I'll give it to you." these are both from my father. |
