Howdy New Friend -

Welcome to Beliefnet’s multi-faith depression support forum,
where all faiths are welcome
and where no single faith is more important,
more valid, or more preferred than another.

Since you’ve posted on depression support,
let me say how very sorry I am for your difficulties
and the tough time you’re having.
But let me also say I'm very glad that you’ve happened
on our little corner of Beliefnet.

This thread is an effort to provide links
to some informative and useful threads.
Feel free to add your own thoughts to any of the discussions.

Again, a warm and hearty welcome to the board.
We’re very glad to have you with us.
May you find comfort, rest, peace, refuge, and friendship here.

Our Gathering Places - Come join us

To meet the regulars, there are two threads
where we get together.
The first place is "The Front Desk"
where we touch bases with each other
and share about how our day’s going.

The second place, for escape and cyber-playfulness,
when we want to get away from it all,
in a purely natural, rustic setting
complete with waterfalls and loving caretakers,
we check into "The Lodge"
According to some, a visit to The Lodge
seems to lift the cloud a little.

Oh, and if you're wondering how the regulars
feel about newcomers,
click here for an answer that'll make you smile.

Sometimes You Just Need to Holler...

‘Need a safe place for those times
when venting is the only response,
         when platitudes and graciousness
      just aren't gonna cut it,
when you need to "get it out"
of your system
    so that it doesn't backwash
on your sense of well-being
in the form of unhealthy toxins
and destructive sleeplessness?
Click here to get to “The Padded Room.”
