Really? We are talking about people that converse with The Lord and The Lady  are we not? People that have master the arts of ceremonial magic? Now perhaps my  instructions suck  Perhaps my choice of music sucks, but I believe this is NOT beyond their technical capabilities.

Teknmage,

Pagans may or may not believe in the Lord and the Lady and they may or may not have anything to do with ceremonial magic. Neither of those is a commonality amongst self-identified Pagans. Now Wiccans on the other hand who represent one established faith (with numerous Traditions) amongst this self-identified spectrum would certainly qualify for the first criteria. Well, newer Traditions anyway, the Gods of Wicca are an entire pantheon, not just the generically described the Lord and the Lady. The influence of ceremonial magic however within the Religion of Wicca itself usually consists of what was borrowed 80 some years ago by Gardner for use in religious ritual. Individual Wiccans may and do choose to study CM further of course. Those that master the arts of ceremonial magic however are more often Thelemics and/or Ceremonial Magicians and they often don't consider themselves to be Pagans.

I am curious as to why conversing with deities or mastering cermonial magic would have any influence on a person's level of tecnnical expertise.  Or were these examples re intelligence?

Have you considered that some people simply can't follow your instructions because of 'technical' reasons? I did take a look at your instructions. They are quite clear but correct me if I am wrong but using them it seems requires that one has and/or uses electronic devices that store music? That may be a given to those below a certain age I suspect but when you get into my vintage....I still have vinyl records, VHS cassette tapes and the most modern device I possess is an aging CD player. So I could type out the names of artists and albums in a document but I have nothing musical in my computer that could be loaded and shared.

Mind you, I'm not speaking for all the Pagans here. I'm sure some of them are quite capable and able 'technically' to follow your instructions, if they choose to do so. It may just not simply be a question of intelligence or (?) self-definition as a Pagan.

Attempting to deal with one God, is quite challenging at times, trying to deal with an entire pantheon would at least seem to suggest one has master to a greater extent following directions?

I am sorry my instructions were not clear, one does not need an electronic device to store music. Youtube.com <has a wealth of videos stored within youtube, in a searchable database. You input a "keyword" like shirt folding and generally you'll find a number of videos you can embed here. LOL Now I'm sure my taste in pagan music lacks a lot to be desired, but I believe in most cases if you can name it you can find it... As to age, I don't believe you are too young, and I have a great grandchild, so even us old fogies can do it...

Teknmage, have you two ID's online?

Regardless, thanks for the explanation. I don't entirely agree with the conclusion drawn but no matter.

The video capacity or whatever it is called on my PC has long been deliberately disabled due to eye-motion issues and lack of interest, I must confess.

So being 'that' kind of old fogie, I'll leave others to respond if they wish.

Yes after the move I was one of the users that couldn't be moved, that happens from time to time with us old stick in the mud types... And being addicted I couldn't stay away while the techies got out the heavy equipment to move me... So now I have a split personality.

I think you need an avatar...

How about something like,

You know the good people here far better than me, do what you believe will attract the most people here.

Ah Waterhouse's Ophelia!  I've yet to see the original although I have seen the Lady of Shalott original. Surprisingly small but so lovely.

The the early Romantic Movement on modern Paganism certianly influenced the mythological history of the latter although I'm not sure how well the tragic Ophelia works as a Pagan avatar. Still it has a poetic irony I suppose.

thanks for posting that,

Well I watched this video thanks to a friend's PC. 1.5 hours long just to warn you but utterly fascinating. Has more than a few magical connotations...:)
