B ehold! The angels said:
"O Mary! Allah hath chosen thee
And purified thee - chosen thee
Above the women of all nations.

"O Mary! Worship
Thy Lord devoutly:
Prostrate thyself, and bow down (in prayer)
With those who bow down."

Every Muslim have faith in Jesus son of Mary. No one can claim to be a Muslim without having faith in Jesus, Moses, David, Aaron, Jacob, Noah or Abraham.

If you read everything about Jesus son of Mary (PBUH) from the holy Bible and compare his teachings with practice of Muslims, you will see that, Muslims are very true to his teachings.

Please click here to see a recent discussion about what the Bible revealed about Jesus and how Christians are practicing his teachings.

During the time of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Muslims exchanged viwes with Christian communities. Here is a book on this topic.

The Covenants of the Prophet Muhammad with the Christians of the World (Paperback)

This part of history reflects Islamic view of Jesus and Christianity in general.

As their theologoies goes against the Qurán. The Qurán said...

And [for] their saying, "Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah ." And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain.

Yes this is one reason and fortunately for Ahmadis, scholars are not God so have no right to consider Ahmadis "non-Muslim." Actually, all Ahmadi teachings are in direct line with Qur'an and ahadith but if people listen to their scholars rather than investigating or learning on their own, their hearts will be sealed. The Qur'an says "they slew him not, nor crucified him, but he was made to appear to them like one crucified." Jesus was on the cross but survived the crucifixion.

My comments were based on conversations I had with Ahmedi members in B-net (Few years ago). They were telling everyone that, Jesus son of Mary (PBUH) died on cross and came back!!

Then I shared this verse and conversation ended.

There was also another topic of last messenger of God. Where disagreements were discussed.

Either way I do not worry too much about what others do. I try to do the best I can and treat people fairly. Which is a direct teaching of Islam.

May peace be unto you!
