The philisophical Taoism was established 2,500 years ago by Lao-Tzu.

The religious Taoism was established over 1,000 years ago by Mulan Mew Shang, into whom has gained immortality.  These Taoists strive to be like her, studying the Tao Te Ching and focusing on their studies.

The Taoist calendar is the same as the Pagan/Wiccan calendar with the same holidays.

The religious calendar has two streams: Mandarin and Cantonese.  Its musical genre is "New Age music."
