At some point in time, these conversations go to the origins of the universe and beginning of "conciousness." What I would really like to hear is the origins of the views in Unity. I've traced many of them back to a metaphysical view of the Bible or other books and traditions. Little else substantiates these views. Personal spiritual experiences are then given weight.  I've had plenty of profound spiritual experiences, synchronicities, and other events that can be viewed as clear evidence of Spirit or God. Yet, when I really take a close look, they begin to unravel and more reasonable explanations come to light. Our brains really are very suggestable, flawed, and create stories to make sense of circumstances or events.

I can't recall my conversation with Rev.Ron, and I can't be bothered going back to see how it transpired. If, as you say, he launched a personal attack against me, then it must have been like water off a duck's back. I bear him no animosity nor hold any grudges against him.

By the way, I like your post above (except, of course, where you suggest that I assail people on a personal level). Well expressed.
