The Reason Rally took place last Saturday and unfortunately I was unable to attend but am excited about the idea of a more organized secularist movement.  I wrote a blog entry about the Rally.

I've been to conventions like this. They are fun and educational. There are Humanist/Atheist groups in just about every major city. I've been a member of such groups for decades now, even president of one for 5 years. Join one, they're interesting and fun.

I liked your blog.

The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that "my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.   Isaac Asimov
