I have always been drawn to shamanism and have come across this Modern Shamanism course - What appeals to me about this is that it is designed to integrate into your daily life. My concern with traditional shamanic practices is that they are so tied to the culture in which they are found that I feel they lose relevance in the Western world. This course would appear to address that issue

Is anybody out there doing this course and if so would you recommend it? How has it helped you?

Wow, you hit the nail on the head with that one. Modern Shamanism haz very little to do with any traditional practice although many attempt to claim its heritage simply because they read about it. We have many non NDN people attempting to claim our traditional practices as well but they are not NDN and don't have any business professing these things. The same could be said about Shamanism. Why not call it what it iz? New Age.

Would anyone care to assert some traditional creation story? I started a Creation myths   discussion on the Origins of Life board. Which unfortunately needs livening-up with a bit of cultural diversity! Innocent
