From your own personal experience (ie not something you have read or quoted, found on the net or linked to), where would you say that the power to heal or transform comes from?

I've talked to a lot of people about this, some modern witches feel it comes from their own personal, inner power, some that it comes from the Spirits, Shamans tend to feel that it comes from the Universe or Great Mystery, The Monotheistic traditions such as Judaism, Islam and Christianity - from Jehova/God but what say you?

My own experience is that I am simply the conduit and the 'power' doesn't stem from me, it only flows via me.  I can wave stuff around, chant and dance till the cows come home but nothing will happen unless my Spirits are there to show me, guide me and work through/with me.
