The way to do this is to find a group in your area and attend a discussion / introductory meeting. You then need to start practicing and demonstrate that your serious by coming to meetings at least once day a month. Check the SGI USA wbsite on their contacts page and find an SGI group near your home town. Give them a call and tell them that you would like to locate a meeting group nearest to your area.
