I'm just learnin about this religion and wonderin if these "spells" that you people cast actually work? I've always had this problem cause of an event from 2 years ago and what I hear these days.

1. There were threads on the boards seven years ago, they were just on the yellow boards, B'net's previous incarnation.

3. Yes, spell can work. Do they always? No. But they can.

4. Are you sure you don't want to take this up on the Witchcraft board? I don't see anything about it that screams Wicca.

I hope you have a chance to read this. Belief works 100% of the time. If I believe you are good person then I will treat you like a good person and your goodness will show. If I believe you are a bad person then I will look for signs that you are a bad person and treat you as such. Naturally, you will react to this treatment showing aspects of your person that confirms your badness. The universe works on the same principles basically. Are you good or bad, it depends on who is doing the perceiving.

Spells as you call them can be prayers. Ask your Christian friends if prayer works. Most feel obligated to tell you yes because it is the company line. If you probe deeper and ask for a specific example when prayers worked for them, many will become flustered and have nothing. Others will have an example, even if it seems small to you.

So it all goes back to belief and perception. You decide what you believe and it will color your preception.
