Hey Sarah,

My last bit of advice for now is to just DO. The relationship you have with the divine or that you will develop with the divine will only happen if you're actually working on linking up with the divine. Whether you see that as being inside of you, outside of you, or both inside and outside of you, you have to connect with it and feel that connection in order for any of this stuff to really sink in and hit home.

People say all the time that they don't have the time to commit to being Wiccan. Or they used to practice, and then fell out of it. You can't really fall out of something that becomes who and what you are. But you can't get to that point if you don't actually live it. Otherwise, it becomes something you read about that sounds nice, and that you might think of doing a ritual once or twice a year, maybe lighting some candles when you want to feel witchy, but that shouldn't satisfy you. If it does, then why bother with seeking the path at all, right?

Reading the books and all that is great, but don't forego the chance to actually pray, meditate, or connect with natural energies for the sake of study. Feel nature. Spend time outside. Or if you can't, at least sit by a window for some time each day.

Get in tune with the seasons in your area. Learn when the sun rises and sets. Learn what wind brings the rain to you.

It's one thing to read about what the moon's phases represent or are linked to. It's another entirely to actually spend time looking at and being with the moon.

Wicca doesn't expect you to have the belief and then practice. Belief comes with doing the practices. You'll know what's right and true for yourself when you feel it, and you'll feel it when you do it. :)
