Brief digression to one of those moments of awe that stick in the memory.

As I re-read my description quoted by JC, I was reminded of the only time I've ever seen a complete double rainbow. My ex-hubby and I were so astounded by its clarity, beauty and rarity that he pulled the car over and parked it so that we could simply sit and stare safely.

I remarked that I'd never seen such a thing and didn't know it was possible. He said that one that distinct and fully double is quite rare, and that I'd likely never see another like it.
