Do we believe that the Priesthood is necessary to walk up and down the aisles passing out stuff? Why don't we let the boys and girls do this?

Why do we believe and follow a living prophet instead of simply placing questions before the membership and following a vote of those members?

You like stiring the pot don't you:-)

Joseph Smith was once accused by some non church members of letting his wife, a woman, baptize. He replied if she did it would be just as valid as any sectarian baptism.

Now ya have to stop and think about that for a moment.

Girls passing the sacrament would make our covenant renewal just a valid as taking the sacrament in any other church.

The priesthood is real, it’s not a club just for men. It is the power to act in the name of God. Our Heavenly Father has given just a small slice of that power to 12 year old boys in their first step to receiving the greater responsibilities of service and power.

Wise men still seek him.

Thank you WWW for your insight, as Moksha's question could be easily found by doing a very little scripture search I wonder why he is trying to start a discussion here with a question that could easily have been copied from an anti-LDS site.
