Salam! I was wondering if others did certain "special" things during Ramadan to enhance their spirituality. I found out many years ago that if I did something "extra" during Ramadan, I got more from it. I'm usually fasting while I'm working so the day goes by without much difference (except the eating and drinking part). So some of the thingss I've done in past years also in Ramadaan have been: a. Not watching TV at all during Ramadan (this is the best by far!) b. Not eating sweets c. Not going on the internet to just browse stuff d. "Forcing myself" to memorize more of Quran e. "Forcing myself" to read certain Islamic books
Anyone else has suggestions? All the best! Ceren |

Salaam, We have more time in Ramadhan to talk about righteousness within our family circles. Children (my grandchildren) often listen very carefully. On a material note, I have no time for tea/cakes etc. Fruit becomes routine rather than tea times. Salam Ibn
I know one thing: There are a billion Islamic people in the world today, and there will be about 2 billion by the time we're dead. They're not going to give up their religion.
