So many folks think they are a good Christian but are they following Christ when they belong to a political party? Are they listening to Jesus' words at J7;14 They are no part of this world.
Long ago when Russia became communistic the JWs were intensely persecured because they would not belong to the Communistic party. Sso to be safe they fled to tthe montais. Then the communisic governent was supposed to share the productions of food. They sold it to other countries instead and about 40 million peole starved to death in Russia. Those persecuted did not for they lived inthe mountains and found food. It may h ave been hard to obey that command by Jesus to be no part of the world. But it saved their lives. |

So being no part of the world saved JWs who lived in Russia. Communist China learned that Russia became strong militarily, having sold the produce, so they too did the same route. The government took the produce and sold it to buy military weapons, and in China about 40million people starved to to death. I can remember the pictures of them eating grass to survive. Were there Jws there ?Yes and they too fled to distant areas due to presecution ..intense hatred for those who refused to belong to the political party. |

When Jesus and his Apostles baptized so many, it says in the bible they were taken out of the nations. That meant they no longer belonged to the nation they were born in.The Jews had belonged to Israel. Jerusalem was the ruling place The courts, Sanhedren , was there. And did the early christians defend Jerusalem? no they too refised to be a a part of Israel. Peter said toChristians " You are a new natnon. So they no longer defended the old Israel that fought against the Romans in 70A.D. They fled to the mountains and were saved. |

Malawi is anoter example of being saved by obedience to what Jesus taught. The JWs refused tobuy a politcal card that identified which party theyy belonged to. Malawi made it a law, and so JWs had their homes burned down, and KH too, and bank accounts confiscated by the government. They were beated stripped of all possessions sometimes even their clothes, and chased out of the country. Malawi fought the war of one political party against the other. And in doing so they took children as soldiers down to age 12, and so families who did small farming did not grow the ctrops needed. Millions starved to death. I remember the pictures of the starving children in the 1950 era. But JWs were out of the country being helped in refugee camps by brothers world wide who sent food an shelter and med. supplies. They sirvived. When the war was over they went back to Malawi and helped rebuild the war torn country. Obedince to Jesus saved them from starvation. |

Lets remember the words of Jesus who said My followers are no part of the world. So also remember that world wars took billions of lives. If the churches had really been no part of the world, the wars could not have deveoped. The patriotic stance of churches gave the political parties the power to go to war. 18 ,000 JWs lived in Germany and they said no to Hitler. The people of other denominatios Heiled Hitler and sent their sons to the slaughter thinking it was the christian thing to do, and the reult was the deaths of billions of people. JWs in every land said no. They were persecuted for this stand which is what Christ taught to be peaceable. They were not against any people but were like ambassadors seeking those being deceived by politics to be nopart of the world. The nations were disobedient to Christ b hut claimed to be Christian natinos. One is not a Christian if folloing the nations for all the nations will persecte the true followers. So the nations are on Satans side. |
