A group of Hindus is suing a resturant in Edison NJ because they are strict vegetarians and were accidently served some meat. |

This topic about a lawsuit is a bit silly. Purification is for the mind and soul not of the body. Its true that when a person eats meat in any form will feel repulsive. The restuarant did not invite them to eat. Why did they not enter a purely vegeterian joint? Nowadays, even in western countries there are many joints which cater to the purely vegeterian group. When I was in USA, in Dec. I would enter only a vegeterian restuarant since I was afraid that they would mix spoons and cooking utensils. .
I am all for a good Satvick vegeterian food but its better to avoid places where they serve non.veg. food. Do not give business to such places where cruelty exists. Bhanumati |

As Bhanumati says, in restaurants which aren't purely vegetarian one has no assurance what kind of food one will get so such restaurants should be avoided by strict vegetarians. |

Jm8 namashkar, I was just having a chat with someone with like mindedness. He was saying that sometimes these people should know that there is a strong line between a vegeterian and a non vegeterian and the suing was good. It did make sense, though. I remember Mac Donalds too had the same problem. They were frying potato fingers in lard. Its not fair for the people who do not eat. In some places, its hard to find a vegeterian joint. Bhanumati |
