The time has come to remember and celebrate all of the many contributions AgnosticSpirithas made to beliefnet, this board in particular, and to the lives of those of us fortunate enough to have met her personally. She died yesterday morning of lung cancer diagnosed only weeks ago.
As most of you know AS fought to separate this board from the atheists to provide a non-confrontational space to deal with agnosticism. I hope a celebration is appropriate here as most agnostics I know do not accept the judgmental afterlife with the need for prayers. But it never helps to remind God and ourselves of what a wonderful person AS was just in case. Any possible God involved would worry much more about how she is remembered than who prays for her.
