Readers can read, if they so desire, a 6000 word essay which attempts to provide "a commentary and context" on the 2011 Ridvan message from The Universal House of Justice." This essay is located at the following site or hyperlink: www.scribd.com/doc/53623071/Ridvan-Messa...

"Such is life," as the Australian outlaw Ned Kelly said on his way to the gallows in 1880. In any form of writing, prose or poetry, one sometimes finds it relevant to where one is at and sometimes does not. You can't win them all Aka_me. In some ways my essay is aimed more for the several hundred thousand Baha'is on the internet and the several million who have come to take an interest in this new Faith. You might prefer to go to the official international Baha'i site for more relevant resources. That site is found at: bahai.org Ron Price, Tasmania PS That essay I posted is now in its 3rd draft at Scribd. The first draft was deleted and readers will have to access all of my doucments to read that 3rd draft. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.-Ron

thanks Ron, I should have explained myself better. just because I didn't "find a point", doesn't mean the article has no point, or isn't worth reading. many times it's my fault for not seeing anything but the most obvious. I will search again later for the article... at the moment there is no content matching a search on "Ridvan 2011".

When readers click on: The 2011 Ridvan Message from The Universal House of Justice: A Commentary and Context ...they will find that the essay has been deleted. In fact, the essay is in its 3rd draft at the Scribd internet site. I have benefitted from some feedback on the first two drafts. Readers need to search at the Scribd site to find my latest draft, latest essay, on that 2011 Ridvan message.-Ron Price, Tasmania. For those wanting a 400 page commentary on the new Baha'i culture of learning and growth, a book found at Baha'i Library Online, they can slso utilize that same link.

in the process of reading it. two things that would help a reader's eyes would be: increase the space between lines and don't split words across lines. while the font size is small, a reader can increase their zoom to make the font seem larger.

I quite agree with both your points, Aka_me.....Sadly, I was not able to fix the problem of words that were broken in the middle, and not even in the middle with respect to syllables. The Scribd site at which I have posted both the essay and the book, is a social publishing site where tens of millions of people share original writings and documents. Scribd's vision, they say, is to liberate the written word. Again, sadly, that word may be liberated, but the form of that liberation is not the best. It may be possible to fix the problem but, again, sadly for the third time, I have no idea how to do that fixing.-Ron Price, George Town, Tasmania .

I've created an account on Scribd, and can't find any online editing tools. do you do your writing while connected to Scribd... or do you write on your local computer and upload the finished file to Scribd? I'm wondering if the ideal way to do things, is to type in a word processor of choice and save the file to PDF format and upload the PDF file. this would allow a person to set the line spacing and word wrap in their own word processor which should be easy.

I have appreciated your following me on this one, Aka_me. Scribd is a very popular website for writers like me but, like you, I have not seen any online editing tools. I do my writing before being connected to Scribd. I write on my local computer and, as you say, upload the finished file to Scribd. Perhaps as you also indicate "the ideal way to do things may be to type in a word processor of choice and save the file to PDF format and upload the PDF file. Perhaps this would allow a person to set the line spacing and word wrap in their own word processor which should be easy." I'll check that out. With appreciation again, Aka_me, for your assistance in this matter. Ron Price, Tasmania

To overcome the problems readers will have if they try to find my essay at the Scribd site, I have relocated my 6000 word essay at my website: www.ronpriceepoch.com/ Readers then need to go to the Religion sub-section of my website---and then to the Babi-Baha'i part of that sub-section. The book which this essay attempts to extend is found at Baha'i Library Online at the following link: bahai-library.com/price_culture_learning... I trust this bring the above complexities to an end.-Ron Price
