Actually, such a human-centered movement already exists, although one would be loath to call it a 'religion'. It even has its own trinity, the free thinkers trinity, comprised of the negation of atheism; the positive outlook of humanism; and the methodologies of reason.

In the spirit common to classical antiquity, the Renaissance, the Enlightenment, and the modern scientific revolution - it would most likely nominate individual liberty, the pursuit of knowledge, the cultivation of pleasures that do not harm others, the satisfactions of art, personal relationships, and a sense of belonging to the human community, as elements of the good life.

It is conceived as a free and creative life lived with alertness, sensitivity and insight. This tells us what Socrates meant when he said that the best life is the considered life. 'The considered life' - free, creative, informed and chosen, a life of achievement and fulfillment, of pleasure and understanding, of love and friendship; in short, the best human life in a human world, humanely lived.

Call of ‘MahaDharma’ –the religion of humanity   Although, it is a religion in name, but in real meaning – it is the call or invitation of humanity, –the call of becoming proper human being.  It is not possible to ignore this invitation for any human being. To respond at this call is not meaning abandon one’s religion.

Well, either it's a religion or it is not?

And I would suggest that to become a "proper human" being one would have to shun dogma, and as all religions involve dogma, this requires shunning religion.

No, we don't need MahaDharma to become human. In fact, it would likely be just another obstacle to becoming such.

Practice of ‘MahaDharma’ is a special kind of Yoga (MahaYoga) practice, by which one can advance on the path of becoming proper human being, through this true self-development program. Actually ‘MahaDharma’ is a true self-development program for conscious human being.
