Switch to Forum Live View Vandals chopped down the Holy Thorn Tree in Glastonbury??

I saw a small piece if news about vandals chopping down the Holy Thorn Tree in Glastonbury. Anyone have any more info on that?   What a terrible act to destroy a 2000 year old holy tree. Please send it healing/positive energy perhaps the roots will survive and sprout again.    B.

Thanks for the link! There is much more info there than I had. I didn't realize that the tree had been chopped once before and replaced.... not the ancient tree I thought it was.  B.

Those vandals .. mmm. mmm. mm.. They have such tragic karma comin their way. One never takes an axe to the axis mundi , world tree, or tree of life (take your pick for a name).

I read recently that the remaining stump of the holy thorn tree is sprouting and blooming. LBB
