Attack is a matter of perception. If we feel that we are a victim of circumstances and do not fully have the ability to deal with the issue at hand then we view ourselves as being attacked. If a situation occurs and someone is yelling at you and be belittling you, you can shift your perception and realize that you have the ability to deal with this situation and you can "choose peace instead of this" or proactively deal with the issue.

I'm glad you came to your senses and left the atheist site. It was unwise for you to go there. Hopefully, you learned something about yourself and judgement. Here is the irony of the situation, you were viewed as the attacker.
