No son nor daughter of our Heavenly Father can be involved in immoral activity, nor partake of drugs, alcohol, tobacco, pornography which weaken the mind, the body, and the eternal spirit, and still be valiant as warriors in the great, everlasting contest for the souls of our Father’s children.

Its nice that you have a thread about LDS thoughts and perspective, yet you are so not compassionate towards people that struggle.
ONLY the Lord can judge us. Period. You talk as if anyone with a mortal struggle should be kicked out of the Church, and cast away. You call these people filthy. You call them NOT worthy. Yet no Bishop has found it pertinant to have me put on probation, disfellowshipped, or excommunicated. I wonder why that is. As a Judge in Israel, maybe they see things YOU don't. Maybe my example of having once been a beautiful model, now a disfigured freak can help some people when they say: start going bald, or get a zit, or accidently shave off their goatee. Maybe the fact that my sexual organs don't work any more due to my incident is inspiration to those that can't have kids. Maybe the fact that I can stand up to people like you when you tell me I am NOT a member of the church and make a mockery of me for being attracted to the same gender inspires people to keep going when they encounter an obstacle. Face it you wicked, judgemental, nasty, woman... you so harshly judge me, and there's been talk, even from very stable dedicated members of the Church. Why don't you pull your head out from "down under?" I am going to have some coffee cake and a tall glass of butter milk and come back to see your response. |

A Bishop cannot judge on what he is not told, and does not know. |

Janadele: A Bishop cannot judge on what he is not told, and does not know.
UWUWM: Really? Have you sat in the Bishop's office with me? How do you know he doesn't know? BTW, one thing that entered my mind. One can be an "out homosexual" and so long as they don't physically have sex with another individual... then there is no sin. Considering the extent of damage I sustained in Iraq, and the fact that my wiener hangs flacid and only functions as a mean to dispell liquid... how have I been sexually active when A. it is impossible, B. I have never admitted here or anywhere of having acted on anything since my incident????? Explaination please... |

Could you two please either: [1] Stop fighting or [2] Get a room ?
Some of us would prefer to avoid getting caught up in a lover's spat if we could. |

Should one be physically unable or incapable of performing an immoral act, but entertains and relishes thoughts of doing so, or expresses those desires verbally or in writing, then one is judged as if the acts had physically occurred. As a man thinketh or speaks, so is he. In the Sermon on the Mount, the Lord said: "Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart" (Matthew 5:27–28). And He has reemphasized the principle He taught in the Sermon on the Mount: "He that looketh on a woman to lust after her, or if any shall commit adultery in their hearts, they shall not have the Spirit, but shall deny the faith and shall fear" (D&C 63:16). |

But in all seriousness, you skip things that I say and only focus on trying to prove me wrong, or prove me some sort of cancer to the Church.
Go ahead. Sit in the judgement seat, and use all the scripture you want. But Jesus said the greatest commandment is to love thy brother. He also said jusdge not, and if you should choose to do so, you will be judged with the same harshness that you use to judge others. You are NOT my Bishop. My Bishop know ALL. He has found no reason to judge or punish. Neither should you. Interesting, you are so against women holding the priesthood but you sure seem to have a burning desire to use it. Here's a challenge. Why don't you figure out who I am and talk to my Bishop? Would that help? Would you prefer I just write a letter to Salt Lake requesting that they take me off the membership roles? What would you like me to do Janadele? What works for you? Its obvious that you are so venemous and angry that I must do something to apease you. What do you suggest? P.S. you are one sick twisted cookie... |

The first seeds of immorality are always sown in the mind. When we allow thoughts to linger on lewd or immoral things, the first step on the road to immorality has been taken. Fill life with positive thoughts and activities so that the negative has no chance to thrive. |
