I've been doing research on the sacred texts of different world religions and I wanted to see if the information I've gathered about Jainism was correct. From what I've found, the main text is called the Agamas, written by Mahavira. I also understand that there are very few remaining texts today, due to most of the teachings being passed down orally. Is this information correct? Also, if someone did want to read "The Agamas" is it published?
