To me being an agnostic means that I am unconcerned with that which is unprovable. This not only relates to whether or not there is a God/gods, but also what happens to the spirit/soul/consousnous when a being dies. This does not mean that a being cannot understand what "Truth" is though. Furthermore, if one takes the time to understand what "Truth" is, then one should be able to discover the "Truth" that is within the traditional "faith traditions". One of the definitions for truth in the dictionary is "that which conforms to reality". If one simply understands that there are 2 realities, the physical & the conceptual, then one should be able to begin understanding that the traditional "faith traditions" have always attempted to define these 2 realities, and then set goals for individuals to achieve a certain "peace of mind", and minimize the fears that our own self-awareness naturally leads to.
