The creation story basically goes like this in Islam that ALlah first created the light of the Prophet muhammad [saw] and then divided this light into four parts and from the first part He made the pen [which He ordered to write down the destiny of creation], from the second, the Tablet [where destiny of all creation? is written], from the third the throne [the greatest of Gods creation, which is situated above all of creation?], and from the forfth, everything else;
this is verry interesting as it accords to the modern astrophysical theory, which says that all of creation came from what is termed the initial singularity in which all of existence was contained in a point of infinte density and temperature. from this initial light which burst forth in what is known as the 'big bang', it split into four fundemental forces; the strong nuclear force, the electromagnetic force, weak interaction and gravitation. the forfth part mentioned above from which 'everything else' proceeded may refer to this gravitational force, which causes attraction between the particles of matter, allowing the seen world to exist and be joined together, and Allah nows best
In terms of how Allah created the heavens and the earth; basically ALlah created the earth in a preliminary/embryonic mode first, then he created the heavens and then completed the earth; He made the heavens and the earth in 6 days but these six days could refer to six periods of time, so it is not known to us exactly how long it took
In terms of the living creatures; the jinn [a spirit like creature that is made to worship ALlah and which has free-will] and the angels were created before man; ... then ALlah created man and put the first two parents of all humanity in paradise; the satan made them slip and the rest is history!
I just wanted to point out that the notion that the prophet was created from light is highly disputed.
There are many verses in Quran that state that all of humankind was created from dust, and that all of us come from Adam (as). Thus many mufassirun say that when the prophet is called "light" it is to signify that he's guidance, not that he was literally created from light.

And God knows best.
To me, that’s quite true. Maybe I’ll throw in one perspective.
Ghafir 40 : 57 The creation of the heavens and the earth is indeed greater than the creation of mankind; yet most of mankind know not.
It ought to be done thru the other aspect of our being i.e. our soul/spirit/consciousness. In clarity or not, it all depends upon our individual purification state. As it is, in our present state of (soul) purification we can’t help it but depends on whatever regressed and/or extrapolated out of those experiencing soul of the past prophets, saints and sages with and/or without Revelation (Scriptures). Upon those experiences of theirs, we put our faith and build our belief as to wherefrom we originated and whereto we’ll finally end up in. And in the Islamic/Al-Quranic logical theosophy the faith and belief is built on the knowledge that we are all from ALLAHswt and to ALLAHswt we’ll all Finally Returned. That is also to say from ALLAHswt we descended, to ALLAHswt we will ascend. And, the experiences of those personalities (all of our forefathers) tell us that in the nearness (presence) of ALLAHswt is to always Signposted as what they all called ed the LIGHT – irrespective of whether we are in an ascending or descending mode. Call it (the Signpost) state or station (maqm) if you like. As I have presented it in the other thread “What does Muslims say about Mary and Jesus”, in this forum, let me reproduce the whole Al-Quranic Frameworks again, with a modification to illustrate the point clearer and to save a lot of words (hopefully). The subject of Light of ALLAHswt (as opposed to what ALLAHswt Himself is) can be misleading , at times. Very much depends on how our little yet deceiving mind plays on it. Our (human) mind is such little but powerful but being captive/anchored to this fragile and mortal body it sees itself as an entity with dual existence. In one pure moment of state, it sees itself as the mortal physical and material unit outfit. In another, it sees itself as the experiencing immortal spiritual (consciousness) unit that had its origin and ending which is an impossibility in the former. What this implies is that to get to the truth about our (physical and material) origin of ourselves and the universe thru our normal physical and biological senses is an impossibility.
An-Nazi’at 79 : 27 Are you more difficult to create or is the heaven He constructed?
THE QURANIC PERSPECTIVE OF CREATION & MULTI-PHASED, MULTI-STAGED, PATH OF A CREATED SOUL OF MAN, JINN AND ANGEL
ALLAH☼<-1st. C R E A T I O N--> <------2nd. CREATION ------------------>☼AALLAH
Key :☼ = LIGHT of ALLAH, M = MAN, J = JINN, A = ANGEL, ERTH/HVN=EARTH/HEAVEN
This LIGHT of ALLAH is nothing like the elementary light (be it of the sun, moon and elementary matters). It is purely spiritual. The 1st. CREATION is that of the material universe (heaven & earth) to include all those sub-human creatures of micro-life organisms and animals not bestowed with intellect and power of reasoning to see itself and its origin and creator. The 2nd. CREATION is that of the consciousness being (the ship, vehicle, Noah’s ark) that is bestowed with all the faculties to find its origin and its creator and its end destiny and with the knowledge and given freedom of choice decide its path to reach its destiny. The Forward looking (BELIEVERS) always look to the right (of the page). Before ALLAHswt is that Signpost – the LIGHT of ALLAH. The Backward looking (DISBELIEVERS) always look to the LEFT (of the page). Before ALLAHswt is also the same Signpost – the LIGHT of ALLAH. In the writings of Muslim great Sufis, it was thought that it was improper to call it the LIGHT of ALLAH to ALLAH, LIGHT or NON-LIGHT is of no consequence – there is no distinction. To soul (consciousness) bearing entity it is an important Signpost to be realized. For this reason it is simply called the LIGHT of MUHAMMADsaw to attribute it to him as ALLAH’s human messenger who reached that Signpost (the peak) and brought down with him the Noble Al-Quran in the same manner as Sherpa Tensing & Edmund Hillary reached the peak of the Everest in 1953 (?) who came down and told us of all their experience. In the context of our priority in the whole frameworks, MAN is the pivot. The man of a Muslim looking right is an ascending (returning) mode. His working goal is that Signpost (LIGHT of Muhammad) and ALLAHswt. Looking left is a descending mode where in are the secrets of his own creation as the First Person and all of its past history. His history is entangled also with the history of the First Creation. By ALLAH’s Revelation that Man is created out of earth dust and the water heaven and all the analogies made in the Noah’s Ark theme story, Man, both soul and body, was created out of the 1st. CREATION. From Body to Body, and, Soul (Spirit/consciousness) to Soul. In some writings of of well knowledged Sufis, looking left the Signpost is referred to as the LIGHT of ADAM. [Therefore, when Muslims talk about the LIGHT of ADAM, we are talking about the physical body, and for the LIGHT of MUHAMMAD, it is about the highest state of elevated soul one can possibly achieve while still walking on this earth]. Hopefully, this would clarify some of the ambiguities people may have with this issue on the LIGHT of MUHAMMAD. It is only in a manner of a speech. The LIGHT is not ALLAH. If it is to be said so, then it may be construed as to contradict the Al-Quranic Surat al-Ikhlas, Chapter 112. Finally, as for the science of the creation of the material universe (of heaven and earth) one may want to rethink and re-contemplate the various verses in the Al-Quran describing the outline process. From my own derived perspective, the Earth was created first and then the heaven. And the basic underlining process is to be a precipitation/condensation one as opposed to emanation, of which many had adopted in their postulation. In the vast expanse of NOTHINGNESS, a tiny part of ALLAHswt’s LIGHT condensed down to a tiny FIRE, the earth dust is precipitated out and fed to the fire. From the heaven of Water (ionic, isotropic gases) air was condensed out and the fire became bigger and grew. Then we had a colossal FIREBALL. More earth dust was the precipitated out at increasing density rate until a balanced was reached and the FIREBALL and its inner core is dampened to a stable state aided by more air that initiated the cooling process which subsequently was augmented by condensation of water from the (gaseous) water heaven. Finally we have what we see to-day as the earth. Not to mention at certain point of time the whole mass was set on its gyroscopic spin to keep everything on the earth space its predetermined balance of stability. A (spherical) Boundary then manifested itself separating the just created earth and the vast expanse of NOTHINGNESS. This Boundary (interspace) is what in the Al-Quran is mentioned as the cloud of smokes. As the Boundary spreads out the construction of the multilevel (material) heaven began. [When everything is completed, this Boundary that finally becomes the Barzakh – Siddrat-ul-muntaha-the interspace].The Al-Quranic phrase being used is ALLAH raised Himself beyond the heavens towards His Throne. Raised here meant progressively lifted Himself above the core centre of the Earth where the First Fire is. In the creation of the First Heaven is the creation of all the planets in our Solar Galaxies centred around the Sun – the Second Fire. Subsequently the rest of the heavenly stars to include those distant ones were constructed. Upon its completion the ALLAHswt made a covenant for Himself and told the all of the earth and heavens
Fussilat 41 : 11-12 Then He rose over (Istawa) towards the heaven when it was smoke, and said to it and to the earth: “Come both of you willingly or unwillingly.” They both said: “We come willingly.” Then He completed and finished from their creation (as) seven heavens in two Days and He made in each heaven its affair. And We adorned the nearest heaven with lamps to be an adornment as well as to guard . Such is the Decree of Him the All-Mighty, the All-Knower.
To them all He prescribed His Mercy. As narrated in a hadith:
Sahih-Al-Bukhari, Vol. 8 : I heard ALLAH’s Messenger saying, “ALLAH has divided Mercy into one hundred parts, and He kept ninety-nine parts with Him and sent down one part to the earth, and because of that on single part , His creatures are merciful to each other, so that the mare lifts up its hoof away from its baby, lest it should trample on it.”.
And in another one:
# 29, # 416, Sahih al-Bukhari, vol. 4 : ALLAH’s Messenger said; “When ALLAH completed the creation, He wrote His Book which is with Him on His Throne: ‘Verily, My Mercy has overcome My Anger.’ “
The 2nd. CREATION was all about how He proceeded to fulfil His Covenant with Himself and all of His 1st. CREATION. He created His Honourable SLAVES/SERVANTS for that. [There is no telling of the lag/gap time between the 1st. CREATION and the 2nd. CREATION.]The underlying principle everything, in chaos or non-chaos, is forward biased. In the above schematics all moving to the RIGHT in a STRAIGHT PATH towards that SIGNPOST. The End Destination is ALLAHswt veiled after it when that very soul of our First Person becomes permanently 100% Purified and Free of Any Defect at all phases of existence. Just a final note : I am not able to see yet where all this Big Bang could have occurred. It could only be a post-creation phenomena – when Man began to create the chaos (out of free will) and ALLAHswt reacted to maintain its sustaining Balance and Continuity of this Universe He had so Loved.Salaam/Peace-zayn-al-abidin/KL
In the Al-Quran ALLAHswt says from His Perspective the creation of the earth and the heavens and everything in them (1st. Creation) was much more difficult, relatively, than that of beings (with the capability of bearing transcecding and growing consciousness potential to reach His Presence in the Abode (2nd. Creation) of Man, Jinn and Angel. However, the Al-Quranic verses relating to these beings can be quite tricky that led to conjectures and much speculation, more in its critical content interpretation than its (language) literary correctness. In my mind without certain pre-knowledge of the bigger picture, the verses are quite impossible to reconcile and/or some of the verses can be made redundant and be ignored. And ALLAHswt has precautioned and warn readers of His Book that He hasn't revealed to Muhammadsaw any redundant words in the Al-Quran. The most critical question to answer from the verses is this : In which (timeline) order those three beings were created (Man, Jinn, Angel) ? There are (mathematically) 6 possibilities. Considering all the narratives given we can rule out 3 of them and be left with 3 (three) possibilities: 1. ANGEL>>>> JINN>>>>>MAN 2. MAN>>>>JINN>>>>>ANGEL. 3. ANGEL>>>>>MAN >>>> JINN Most Muslim, if not all, have settled down with the 1st. Order and that is sealed. Within a limiting literary/literal context, it is a correct order at the expense of making some verses redundant. Content-wise, looked in the bigger picture of the Al-Quran Message, questioning ourselves with the 2nd. Order in mind, would lead to a realisation of the richer meanings in the Al-Quran out of the verses made redundant by the simplistic assumption or sanctifying of the 1st. Order. Requoted below are the various key verses associated with the subject of the 2nd. Creation (after the completion of the material earth & heavens): Al-Baqarah 2 : 30And (remember) when your Lord said to the angels:“Verily, I am going to place generations after generations on earth.”They said:“Will You place therein those who will make mischief therein and shed blood, --- while we glorify You with praises and thanks and sanctify You.”He (ALLAH) said :“I know that which you do not know.” Al-Baqarah 2 : 31And He (ALLAH) taught Adam all the Names, then He showed them (the Names) to the angels and said :“Tell me the Names of these if you are truthful.” Al-Baqarah 2 : 32They (angels) said:“Glory be to You, we have no knowledge except what you have taught us.Verily, it is You , the All-Knower, the All-Wise. He (ALLAH) said:“O Adam, inform of their Names,” and when he (Adam) had informed them of their Names, He (ALLAH) said:“Did I not tell you that I know the Ghaib (unseen) and the earth, and I know what you reveal and what you have been concealing?” And (remember) when We said to the angels:“Prostrate yourselves before Adam.”And they prostrated except Iblis (Satan), he refused and was proudand was one of the disbelievers (disobedient). Al Hijr15 : 28-29And when your Lord said to the angels: “I am to create a man from dried clay of altered mud. So, when I have fashioned him completely and breathed into him the soul which I created for him, then fall (you) down prostrating yourselves unto him.” Al Hijr15 : 30-31So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together.Except Iblis (Satan) – he refused to be among the prostrators. Al Hijr15 : 32-33(ALLAH) said: “O Iblis! What is your reason for not being among the prostrators?” (Iblis) said : “I amnot to prostrate myself to a human being, whom you created from dried clay of altered mud.” Al Hijr15 : 34 - 35(ALLAH) said : “Then get out from here, for verily, you are rajim (an outcast, cursed).And verily, the curse shall be upon you till the Day of Recompense.” Al Hijr15 : 36 – 38(Iblis) said : “O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day they will be resurrected.” (ALLAH) said : “Then verily, you are of those reprieved, till the day of the time appointed.” For those who are serious readers of the Al-Quran and in this aspect of creation, you may want to think/contemplate/meditate about these verses. I have to keep this post short as it is. InshaAllah, I'll follow with some comments (personal) in a next post. Salaam/Peace
THE REALISATION OF THE 2ND. CREATION Al-Baqarah 2 : 30And (remember) when your Lord said to the angels:“Verily, I am going to place generations after generations (of Man) on earth.”They said:“Will You place therein those who will make mischief therein and shed blood, --- while we glorify You with praises and thanks and sanctify You.”He (ALLAH) said :“I know that which you do not know.” /br>What was said “to place generations after generation (of Man)”.That means a self reproduction scheme of Man.It didn’t say a self reproduction scheme or regenerations of Angel, nor ALLAH was going to create generations and generations of Angels after the First Generation.The Angel (First Generation) had been given the knowledge of the evil (sin) of Man prior to its creation.<br /br>Al-Baqarah 2 : 31And He (ALLAH) taught Adam all the Names, then He showed them (the Names) to the angels and said :“Tell me the Names of these if you are truthful.” By this verse ADAM was the First of ALLAHswt Messenger (of Knowledge) on earth. It doesn’t mean he was the First Man on earth by virtue of another verse which says ALLAH created every thing in pairs(of opposites) which, also, doesn’t necessarily mean one single pairs.In all probability multiple of pairs. In the Al-Quran Adam was the First of ALLAH’s Messengers as stated in Muhammadsaw’s Ascension (Mi’raj) account.And to be a Messenger of ALLAH, one must have a ready community to whom a revealed message is to be transmitted t, to begin with. “Taught Adam all the Names” could also be interpreted as to mean to be given the intellect of meaningful word speeches (a language) and hence sense of self reasoning. This implies that the prevailing first community must possess similar individual potential. Al-Baqarah 2 : 32They (angels) said:“Glory be to You, we have no knowledge except what you have taught us.Verily, it is You , the All-Knower, the All-Wise. The First Generation of Angel definitely were not given full knowledge as was taught of Adam – the First Human Messenger of ALLAHswt.In other verses of the Al-Quran, they were given only specific knowledge individually. Al-Baqarah 2 : 33He (ALLAH) said:“O Adam, inform of their Names,” and when he (Adam) had informed them of their Names, He (ALLAH) said:“Did I not tell you that I know the Ghaib (unseen) and the earth, and I know what you reveal and what you have been concealing?” There were among the Angels some who were concealing a specific truth taught by ALLAH to them. Al-Baqarah 2 : 34And (remember) when We said to the angels:“Prostrate yourselves before Adam.”And they prostrated except Iblis (Satan), he refused and was proud and was one of the disbelievers (disobedient to ALLAH). Those First Generation of Angel admitted before ALLAHswt of their given limitation and understand the superiority of Man except a group of them classified then after as Iblis (Satan).To this group ALLAHswt followed with His Command of Disposition, as described in one of the following verses: Al Hijr15 : 28-29And when your Lord said to the angels: “I am to create a man from dried clay of altered mud. So, when I have fashioned him completely and breathed into him the soul which I created for him, then fall (you) down prostrating yourselves unto him.” In this verse the phrase is “to create a man”. This gives us an additional contrast to the phrase in 2:30 “to place generation after generations (of Man)”.Here, the verse suggest a conceptualizing (idealization) of a Man statement only, before its final creation.The final and materialization is in pairs and/or multiple of pairs to make up a community with a Messenger. Al Hijr15 : 30-31So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together.Except Iblis (Satan) – he refused to be among the prostrators. This verse follows in the same spirit as verse 2: 34< Al Hijr15 : 32-33(ALLAH) said: “O Iblis! What is your reason for not being among the prostrators?” (Iblis) said : “I amnot to prostrate myself to a human being, whom you created from dried clay of altered mud.” At this point the Iblis (Satan) were still in the Angelic State (of specific Knowledge and Consciousness) and Man hasn’t been created as yet.
Al Hijr15 : 34 - 35(ALLAH) said : “Then get out from here, for verily, you are rajim (an outcast, cursed).And verily, the curse shall be upon you till the Day of Recompense.” The casting out of the Iblis (Satan) is in its material state of existence and not its consciousness.It therefore has to wander and find other forms of material existence to attach its consciousness.Definitely that ought to be the state where it was before and lower.It couldn’t be higher. Al Hijr15 : 36 – 38(Iblis) said : “O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day they will be resurrected.” (ALLAH) said : “Then verily, you are of those reprieved, till the day of the time appointed.” This verse is a confirmation that a respite was given.That means whatever specific knowledge taught to the Iblis (Satan) in the Angelic Consciousness state, before they were caste out, they would retain it, irrespective of where they find their temporary attachment in the lower state (Kingdom).The specific knowledge (content-wise) retained in their possession is known to be very high to include the 1st. Creation (of earth and heavens) itself.But what ALLAHswt had it hidden from most them are the many aspects of their own creation.And for that they have their own training curriculum and schedule after each of their appointed term.And the verse doesn’t conclude anywhere the Iblis (Satan) was to be attached to for its appointed permanent residency.It is therefore wandering and unattached in the state it was. In the meanwhile: Al-Baqarah 2 : 35And We said :“O Adam!Dwell you and your wife in the Paradise and eat both of you freely with pleasure and delight, of things therein as wherever you will, but come not near this tree or you both will be of the zalimun (wrong doers).” The verse is specific in its reference to Adam.It wasn’t a man that ALLAH told the angel He would create, generations after generations.By what has been thought of above, a community of Man had already been created and Adam (their ALLAH’s First Human Messenger), together with his wife (doesn’t say it was Hawa/Eve) had been raised to Paradise (in the Al-Quran Paradise is to be understood as the Kingdom of Angels as opposed to the heavens of the Jinn).The tree mentioned in the verse is to be the specific Tree of Knowledge, the same that was taught and in the possession of the Iblis (Satan).Not coming to the tree means not to be obsessed and use the knowledge of the tree unless ALLAH wills it.This is always in reference to performance of miracle-ship to which Muslims have been warned against in the Al-Quran.For those who have been exposed to this knowledge, there are Laws attached to its usage.And for those who break the Law, their knowledge would be erased out gradually and their stretches of appointed reprieve will be made longer, level of hazards would be increased to force a repentance. Al-Baqarah 2 : 36Then the Iblis (Satan) made them slip there from (Paradise), and got them out from that in which they were.We said:“Get you down, all, with enmity between yourselves.On earth will be a dwelling place for you and an enjoyment for a time.” Sensing the arrival and presence of First Generation of Man raised by ALLAH to Paradise, the wandering Iblis (Satan) was successful in teaching Adam and his wife their specific knowledge (on the material heaven and earth and their creation – 1st. Creation) and play around it and became an obsession. So by those events, all the Iblis (Satan) were caste down to earth and between them made enemies of each other. Al-Baqarah 2 : 37Then Adam received from his Lord Words.And his Lord pardoned him .Verily ALLAH is the One Who forgives, the Most Merciful. For Adam and Eve ALLAHswt bestowed His Mercy, out of the 1% He had accorded to the Earth and everything in and on it and his sin (of disobedience) were all forgiven upon his repentance.This event occurred in the First Barzakh (a transient after death state, aka, Day of Resurrection, Day of Recompense, Day of Mutual Meeting, Day of Reckoning, Day of Mutual Gain and Loss, Day of Grief an dRegrets……etc) after his First Death as the First Person.In the same spirit, another verse also appeared in another context in the Al-Quran: Al-Kahf18 : 48And they will be set before Your Lord in rows:“Now indeed, you have come to Us as We created you the First Time.Nay but you thought that We had appointed no meeting for you.” As-Saffat 37 :59(by the dwellers of Paradise) “Except our first death, and we shall not be punished? (after we have entered Paradise). Every (spiritual ) has its initial existence as the First Person (of the First Time).As the First Human Messenger after being raised at one point duringhis life as the First Person in human existence and taught of all the Names (received his Guidance0, he later experienced his First (human) death and thenwas raised to the Barzakh for a Judgement.He was pardoned but not punished for his initial sin. However, like the Iblis (satan) a reprieve was granted for an appointed term. (verse 2 : 36).Adam (the soul) had to return to earth for a renewed human existence.By then he had received his due Guidance.In his renewed life he would take on a different identity.For him was given a new creation (another regenerated human body) with a renewed Covenant with ALLAHswt.For Adam (Man) the case had been settled.For the Iblis (Satan) it hasn’t.They were all left in the wandering state on earth. Al-Baqarah 2 : 38We said :“Get down all of you from this place (paradise), then whenever there comes to you Guidance from Me, there shall be no fear on them, nor shall they grieve”. For Adam (Man) and his followers, Guidance was given.Those who follow should have no fear no grief.For the Iblis (Satan), the same applied.ALLAH’s Command to them to pay due respect and not disturb mankind still stand.In none of the verses cited so far has any mention about the Jinn.However, in one particular verse this is revealed: Al-Kahf18 : 50And (remember) when We said to the Angels:“Prostrate yourselves unto Adam (the First Human Messenger).”So they prostrated themselves except Iblis (Satan).He was one of the Jinn ;he disobeyed the Command of His Lord.Will you then take him (Iblis)and his offspring as protectors and helpers rather than Me while they are enemies to you?What an evil is the exchange for the zalimun (wrong doers). Al-Kahf18 : 51(ALLAH) made them (Iblis and his offspring) not to witness their own creation, nor was I to take the misleaders as helpers. In these verses ALLAHswt has classified the First Generation of the Fallen Angels as Jinn of the disobedient and evil (Iblis, Satan) kind.And out of them come their offspring which implies a self regeneration system for the Jinn kind. This indicates the separation between male and female becomes more distinct than it was when they were in the Paradise.That is to say they were downgraded more towards human in the nature of their existence.There are several verses in the Al-Quran that say the Jinn are created out of the smokeless fire.Those are similitude or analogy to those verses that human offspring (the material anchor body/vehicle) are created out of earth dust and which life sustenance depends on the food web generated out of the earth.For the jinn offspring their anchor vehicular body are created out of those elements in the continuum above the earth whose life sustenance depends on the energy (food) web drawn out of them which includes the solar fire of the sun.In retrospect, when Isasaw (Jesus) told his disciple that he is life of his (jinn) Father in the heaven he was merely pointing out a fact that he drew his (food) sustenance primarily on that food directly drawn by his Father in the heaven i.e. non-earthly elements of gaseous air and water and also of heat out of the sun. For him solid food elements such as pure meat, whole wheat were not necessary.Wheat chaff were just sufficient to maintain his bodily flesh and muscle.This was certain aspect of Isasaw (Jesus) primary teaching and message that wasn’t well understood.By his non-normative birth and seeming ignoring on certain aspect of Ibrahimsaw’s (Abraham) and Musasaw’s (Moses) teachings, his was to portray by self demonstration of what is next coming in the afterlife of a human existence.That included his glaring demonstration of those miracles which is also part and parcel in the Tree of Life (the Tree that ALLAHswt told Adam and Eve not to come near it as it could draw them away from ALLAHswt.As it is (in the Gospel) Isasaw (Jesus) proclaimed himself that he came not to abolish what were taught by any of them (Ibrahim, Musa). There was in fact a cross in the birth of Isasaw – between his astral jinn Father and earthly Mother (Mariyam).Those accomplished in certain aspect of mysticism understand this.After all these are quite common in the Greek or Hindu mythology where the personification of characters led to so many demi-God/s.So going back to the discussion, by the verse 18 : 50-51, the fallen and wandering First Generation of angels were finally given their place of existence between earth and the Paradise.And that is the material and spiritual heaven as given in the schematic of the (Al-Quranic) Cosmology.From day 1, ALLAH’S Command on these jinn beings – whether they are First Generation of Fallen angels and or their generations of offspring they have to prostrate unto Man.And they have to receive their Guidance from ALLAH’s Messenger of Man.There is a dedicated chapter in the Al-Quran about this (Surat al-Jinn) but that would call for a separate discussion.As far as this topic is concerned it appeared that the actual order of realized creation is most likely : ALLAH>>>> ANGEL>>>> MAN>>>>JINN Important note:This schematic is not portrayed in all the previously given schematic of the Cosmology.But the latter is the consequence of it when phase (form) upgrading and downgrading of the angel and jinn kind between the phase interfaces of the 2nd. Creation are effectedThere is no downgrading involved between any phase in the 2nd. Creation to that of the 1st. Creation.That is to say there is no resurrection at the Man-Sub-Human interface.There, it is pure creation of newly born soul and assigned to anchor to regenerated biological bodies in the human reproduction cycle that sustains on its anabolic and metabolic sub-system in the earthly food web/chain.Finally, what has been described, admittedly, may not represent opinion of mainstream Muslims of the whole.Experience and levels of Al-Quranic comprehension varies from individual.There are bound to be other non-clear verses in the Al-Quran and relevant and essential verses in the Ahadith that I am not aware of, or, have missed.I just felt that I could have articulated all of the above better.But then, I am not a scholar.Any input or comment, certainly, I would welcome them.After all, I am just another being still kicking on this earth and enjoying what remains – taking and giving/throwing it away as one would peeling the onion of its skins. At-Takwir81 :24And he withholds not a knowledge of the Unseen [Wa maa huwa ‘alalghaybi bidaneen] Salaam/Peace
The creation story basically goes like this in Islam that ALlah first created the light of the Prophet muhammad [saw] and then divided this light into four parts
Hey, there is no evidence of all this: Where did you get this from?
The creation story basically goes like this in Islam that ALlah first created the light of the Prophet muhammad [saw] and then divided this light into four parts
Hey, there is no evidence of all this: Where did you get this from?
Hi there! Your question is not an unfamiliar one in the whole of B'Net. Exactly, what kind of evidence are you asking for? Primarily Islam is about spiritual faith & God, that we cannot, as yet, put down on the CRT for analysis and interpretation. Anything other than those is secondary and what clues given in Sciptures and/or in the writings of the (direct) experienced ones. The motivation given to Muslims, in the Al-Quran, is mentioned by the following verse: Ash-Shura42 : 53 We will show them Our Signs in the Universe, and in their (human) ownselves, until it became manifest to them that this is the truth. Is it not sufficient in regard to your Lord that He is a Witness over all things? What this verse implies is that one has to elevate him/herself to the Lord's station, then only he/she will discover and witness the truth about the creation of both the material Universe and his/her own selves. During the middle age - the heyday of the Islamic Discovery and Invention, many had devoted their works in this direction as motivated by the verse. And collectively they were known as the Sufis. To varying degrees of level achievement they worked their spiritual elevation to as closest possible to the station of ALLAHswt. And among them many came closest as to be able to witness what ALLAHswt is Witnessing (though not absolute, but close and humanly sufficient). And from the writings and narration of their experience that such term as the Light of Muhammad was coined. It was named as such for it was the same kind of Light as described by Muhammadsaw in one of his Hadith. It could be anyone's LIGHT, including you and me, or, Jesus, Moses. As I mentioned quite often this is a Spiritual Light and not anyother light that our little mind can perceive because it is a light that can be felt and out of which initiate created forms. And as written in the Sufis books this is the Light that is split into four parts. The four parts comprise: 1. HOT 2. DRY 3. COLD 4. WET Scientific or possessing of evidence or not, it is up for one to look for it - with the naked eyes or the CRT. For me. my route of choice is via ALLAHswt. I don't think I need CRT or CYCLOTRON. I am my own tranducer. PS: In each of those parts are varying levels of heavens. Between HOT and DRY there are movements of 196 Heavens to create FIRE. Between COLD and WET there are movements of 20 Heavens to create WATER. Between DRY and COLD there are movements of 88 Heavens to create EARTH. There is no or infinte movements of Heavens between HOT and WET as that is SPIRIT or LIFE (Air/Breath) itself. And the most amazing things of all - when one enters this LIGHT, one doesn't feel any of those HOT, DRY, COLD and WET. That is the True Peace. Subhanallah! Salaam/Peace zayn-al-abid-din/KL
Reading these statements about Islam's view of Creation, I'm compelled to ask an additional question:
Is there a specific Islamic view on the critical quesitons of Creationism vs Evolution?
I realize that in most religions, people are divided: Some religious people quite easily believe that Evolution is scientifically correct. However, in some of the more fundamentalist (and I'm afriad right wing) groups, Evolution is considered hopelessly inacurrate--as does any view which allows that the Bible is "wrong" about something!
Is there a unified view in Islam? I am now reading the Quran by myself, and have asked my Muslim friends about this: I don't seem to see anythig in that great book about this question. My Muslim friends all seem to have differing views!
So, I'm wondering if some of you who are so learned about Islam would be willing to answer my question a bit.
I would truly love to hear from all of you because I'm really interested in learning as much as I can from the source. Thanks so much. Ilene jerrysjingles
